As an infrequent visitor to NY, the Rubin Museum was one of the best stops for wonderful Dharma displays and unique presentations. It will be missed in this form.

Very sad to hear this news; have been a member there for years… My favorite place to visit, along with Tibet House, in NYC

A painful reminder of impermanence. The museum is/was a beautiful inviting space. Although the article said that its decision was not based on the pandemic or the demands for repatriation of its collection, I cannot help but wonder.
Before it closes, in approximately 8 months, I highly recommend that people visit and experience the wonders of religious inspired art from the Himalayas.
