Little Shop of Horrors (1986 Musical) One of the best. Also, performed at a high school near you.
These guys were/are terrific! Decent movies too. One of the best games/events a parent can take a child to see. I won a local newspaper contest and we not only had free tickets, but we got to meet the team on the court and have seats behind their bench. Coming to a venue near you?
Also, this film three years later was a good Globetrotter origin story, featuring Sidney Poitier
One of my favorites: Captain Newman MD.Gregory Peck, Angie Dickinson, Bobby Darin, Oscar nominee! One of the first movies dealing with PTSD. Not to be missed.
LOST HORIZON (1937)
Shall watch this tonight with you in mind!
Will try to watch soon too. Dont give away the details! But love to know if you liked it
Master Holecek mentions this tv series in the Grand Slam interview you posted here:
Heres the 3 seasons for free:
@_Barry have you seen before? Better than Kill Bill?
Kung Fu was a pioneer show. Brought Eastern wisdom to the mainstream West for the first time. Supposedly Bruce Lee’s idea but producers were afraid of a legit Chinese lead, so it starred a “half-breed” whitey instead. Most of the episodes stand up to time. Kill Bill is more on the line of the Hong Kong Kung Fu movies that Bruce Lee ushered in after his stint as Kato, in The Green Hornet, that came out around the same time. Then, of course, there is Big Trouble in Little China.
No doubt, I watched the first 8min of the first episode and was impressed.
Hell yeah, that was Hella good!!!
Sounds like a Sacred Teaching to me…
