Lucid Dreaming experience inspired by Andrew :)

Yes, and I am no doctor, and I know nothing, but this may interest you:

The only counter argument I can think of is were people with diabetes fasting hundreds of years ago, before diabetes was discovered?

No videos on type 1 diabetes.

With the kidney problem, there may be a build up of toxins in the body.

Have you tried doing Sauna 1-2x a week?

This heat therapy is very dangerous for some people with underlying conditions, so consult some doctors if interested.

Rumor has it, this heavy sweating removes toxins from the body including aluminum, mercury, and arsenic. Not sure if that is true. You will also sweat out some good stuff too, so make sure the meal afterwards is nutrient dense. And stay hydrated throughout!

THere are contraindications - Just a moment - looking it up on my Kindle - I bought a redlight book

with sunlight yes, but I think the benefits outweigh the risks. I am the minority on this opinion, I think most doctors and medical professionals will tell you the opposite.

I know I am going to get skin cancer from the sunlight, but I hope it will be the less aggressive kind, and, in that case I think the benefits outweigh the risk. Again there is a very high probability I am delusional on this insight.

Madfes doesn’t recommend red light therapy for anyone with photosensitizing medical conditions, such as lupus, or anyone taking a photo-sensitizing drug (including tetracycline, doxycycline, hydrochlorothiazide, naproxen) . You should also avoid it if you have any open wounds or lesions on your skin.

I am remembering also not to be used near a pace maker or over varcous veins

This is my zinc oxide :upside_down_face:

Sun screen clogs my pores and is killing the great barrior reef

I try to limit my expose to, early morning, and evening, when rays are much weaker than high noon.

Might help just to dip your toes in the sunlight, for 15min-30min (or other areas of the body that dont get much sun :upside_down_face:. A little bit goes a long way

I talked to the same guy today who recommended the red light, he said it was safe for skin cancer, but I would do the research and ask a doctor or 2,

I am a metaphysical practitioner… I truly believe in it.
I have also realized in the last years that what we believe in, is what heals us…
the metaphysics of diabetes seems to be a difficulty in receiving life’s sweetness :star_struck:
but… one good possibility would be to heal it with Lucid Dreaming

yes, same here.
I also have a hat when I feel the sun is too strong.
no sun screen at all… for me and the planet.

I have learned A LOT about this subject with Dave Asprey…

there are so many benefits in receiving sun… one of them directly connected with sleeping well:

  • Twenty minutes in the sun a day activates your production of serotonin, which at night turns into melatonin (the ā€œsleep hormoneā€). In addition to giving you energy, warmth and beauty, it gives you vitamin D and boosts your good mood;
  • gazing at the rising sun fills us up with several color nutrients that stay with us all through the day;
  • they reset our circadian rhythm - one routine that I have is going to bed early and get up also early to ā€œsurfā€ the natural light as much as I can, because our whole system is naturally governed by it - intuition included.

here’s a video about the sun exposition:

one about infrared saunas:

the main thing here is, like in all - common sense.
also intuition, as usual helps in deciding also for when to receive the sun.
one thing that I also do, is using my hair to protect me - example: I’m walking and feel the sun is too strong on my left or right, I take my hair and it covers that part of the face. which is great because our hair receives information and the good vibes from the sun.

I also always protect my hands from the sun - when I receive it, it’s from the inside, which charges my hand chacras :dolphin: sometimes I walk in a funny way… but I care more for my health than for what other people might think :rose:

after watching that video of Andrew - study group 14, somehow I thought of this part of your dream being related to the dark retreats he mentioned…

Great Mind thinks alike my dear friend! I had this though this weekend, but for the 2nd dream, where he was in the cave by the ocean.

The Asian women on the papers, I think may have represented Taras or Dakinis

Another thought about the papers in both @_Barry s dream and mine, was that maybe the dream is telling us to go and read his books again, or study deeply the wisdom information on this site.

Andrew could also have symbolically represented this website (I do have at least one Goddess looking out for me on here  :kissing_heart:  :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :green_heart: :dolphin: :green_heart:

Thank you so much for sharing this. I have heard sunscreen can interfere with vitamin D absorbtion, might just be a rumor though.

These winters drain the vitamin D so much from my bones, that I must spend the rest of the year ā€˜recharging my battery’ as much as possible.

Amen.

Loved those videos, in a perfect world I would watch the sun rise and set every day. Not always feasible. Maybe its time to become a Muslim???

@_Barry , do you know any Sleep Doctors on this website you could write this question to in advance, who may have skin doctor friends he can consult and give you an answer ???

did you ever hear Andrew say that we are our habits? hihihi… it’s really just putting the focus into it. and doing it in waves - it’s how I do it… I have periods when I do it everyday… and others when I don’t at all, others when I do it when it flows…

collagen specific for the bones and tissues helps a lot! especially if there’s an injury. some people, after 50 take it everyday :rose: I like taking it once a year, for a month or two or three - what I feel I need.
