šŸŽµ Music That Moves You

Yeah great video and song! Heard it a lot growing up, but never really listened to the lyrics until now:

ā€œamber is the color of your energy
shades of gold display naturallyā€

Beautiful line, not sure exactly what it means though?

Just the vibe, I always thought his singing embodied the energy he was talking about in the song.

ā€˜Heaven let your light shine down!’

Youre not going to believe this, but esrlier today I was thinking about the band Collective Soul, and what an awesome name that is, and how all these years I never appreciated or understood its meaning.

The signs are everywhere, like you were saying.

Awesome synchronicity, what are the chances. It happens a lot but when you try to explain to people in normal life they don’t understand :man_shrugging:

Love this one…

ā€œLove, TARS, love. It’s just like Brand said. My connection with Murph, it is quantifiable. It’s the key!ā€

This was a funny one. Went lucid in my dream last night after an old friend showed up. I can’t remember what they did to me that caused me to become lucid (I’d have to look at my journal) but they left before I was lucid. Shortly after they left I went lucid and searched for them. They were sitting on a bench talking to someone. As soon as the person they were talking to saw me they ran away. I sat down next to the old friend and morphed into the genie from Aladdin and started singing them this song. They must not have liked my singing because they ran away soon after I started .

Lol, great dream, this was a favorite of mine growing up (back when quality control seemed to be Disneys primary agenda). upside_down_face:

Aladdin and Lion King were my two favorite movies growing up. Great soundtracks. :star2:

Back in the day I was known for jumping off the coffee table into a split while listening to the Lion King .

Two great classics. Not a fan of the remakes.

The Lion King seriously disturbed my daughter when Mustafa was killed, sorta the ā€œBambi momentā€ for that generation. Agree about the remakes, but the recent Jungle Book do-over was an exception.

Found this one amongst the best!

Strictly 1980s, but I took my daughter to see see the play maybe 15 years ago and it was just as entertaining for her and her age cohort in the theater. Sure, the audience was full of baby boomers and their kids, but the final dance scene went on for another half hour or so as the audience wouldn’t let them stop!

Footloose video is awesome. Good song too :slightly_smiling_face:. You can feel the music watching them dance to this song :musical_note:.

Be sure to watch this before you go to bed. May cause night terrors. Monster hit! Good opportunity to confront fear.

Inspired me to to watch this one again. Haven’t seen it in awhile. Marilyn Manson had some pretty good videos if your into weird ones. Even if you play the song on mute it is worth a watch .

Amen

The Jungle book remake was a total HOMERUN!!! So good! I think it may even be better than the original book. Love the part about the red flower.

Its a great song definitely a clasic that will last generations!

Classic, the dance floor will still go wild when this one gets played.

Really cool minor synchronicity:

I was reading Andrews PTD book, two days ago, and he reccommended going and watching horror movies as a Reverse meditation practice for helping control fear. Great tool for DY like you said too. ( I think it was around page 40 or 50, have to double check.)

I always used to get him mixed up with Alice Cooper. I really stopped serious music following after the Eagles, so I can recognize individual songs, but the singers, not so much. Definitely a disturbing video!

There was also an earlier Jungle Book with Jason Scott Lee as Mowgli and Cary Elwes (from Princess Bride) that was not bad, but in a different strata. Lee had just finished playing Bruce Lee in Dragon:The Bruce Lee Story which I thought was terrific, and this was his followup movie. Both worthwhile.
