  • This is a sharing. I have a large table top prayer wheel with Om Mani Padme Hung mantras inside. Whenever I talk to a customer service person on the phone at the end of the call I thank them for their help and tell them I am going to spin it for them and it will send them lots of positive energy. Of course, I just say it has prayers inside and never mention the prayers are Buddhist. The response is very positive even though they probably have no idea what a prayer wheel is.

  • Its difficult for me to meditate in the seated position for more than 20min, I start to get a lot of tension and pain in my lower back. Laying down and meditating helps relieve this. Do you recommend laying down on my belly or on my back for optimal results? If you could summarize the most important teachings from your lifes work into one quintessential teaching, what would it be?

  • I am very sincerely trying to work deeper and deeper with “Dream Yoga” as a “Spiritual Path”, and as I am doing that I am becoming more aware of that autonomous “force” that seems to oppose or block us in our endeavors (whether worldly or Spiritual). In dreams I notice it occasionally taking the form of adversarial characters or obstacles and blocks and limitations of various kinds. Obviously I do not knowingly consciously create this force or principle in my dreams (or waking life either) but there it is anyway, seemingly present on all levels. In your understanding “What is that adversarial force”? Is it designed to keep us from waking up? I really want to understand this.

  • Could you, please, explain from your own personal understanding and experience what is Sambhogakaya.
In the interview with Tenzin Wangyal, he said: ”If you don’t have a subtle body, then you’re stuck in this physical world.” Did he mean literally that it is possible not to have a subtle body? Or did he mean that if one does not develop one’s subtle body through inner yogas, one will not be able to use it?

  • How can I practice Bardo and help my parents to transition when the time comes ?
