The illusory form of race

Hey friends, at the risk of being too political I think this is an appropriate application of illusory form. To reify race as more than a mirage is delusion. But to deny the appearance of the mirage perpetuates its power and limits our insight.

“Race is a mirage but one that we do well to see, never forgetting that it’s the powerful light of racist power that makes the mirage.”- Ibram X. Kendi

I think there is good insight here, counteracting that ‘I don’t see race’ thing and also fitting in well in conversations about Critical Race Theory - so pertinent to our world today. I think these perspectives are important to look at through the lense of Illusory Form and also living the absolute and the relative reality at once.
