đŸŽŒ Wake Up Singing or Humming a Tune?

"The song “Renegade” by Taylor Swift, featured in Big Red Machine’s album, delves into the complexities of a relationship burdened by emotional baggage and anxiety. The lyrics express a poignant narrative of staying with a partner through their struggles, even when it becomes challenging. The recurring theme of the song revolves around grappling with a partner’s insecurities and the impact of these on the relationship.

Some interpretations suggest that “Renegade” might be reflective of Swift’s personal experiences, particularly in the context of societal expectations and the journey of self-discovery. The song is seen as an empowerment anthem, encouraging listeners to embrace their true selves and break free from societal norms, especially in relationships. This aspect of the song resonates with Swift’s evolution as an artist and her willingness to challenge societal norms through her music.

The lyrics also touch on the theme of mental health, portraying how anxiety can impede one’s ability to fully engage in a relationship. The song has been praised for its emotional depth and the way it conveys the struggles associated with mental health issues within a relationship context.

Moreover, “Renegade” features lines that echo some of Swift’s previous works, suggesting a continuity in her lyrical themes and possibly alluding to her long-term relationship with Joe Alwyn.

In summary, “Renegade” is a complex and emotionally rich song that explores themes of love, mental health, self-discovery, and challenging societal norms. It stands out as a powerful and introspective piece in Taylor Swift’s discography [❞] [❞] [❞] [❞]."

Here is the summary from AI after searching across various interpretations.

You could have titled it Last Chance. But I think Renegade has a far more negative connotation, someone who is disloyal, or who has lost heart. I don’t think the song is talking about rebellious behavior, but more so self destructive behavior. It gives an ultimatum for the love. Not your typical ‘blind’ love song. Deep topic. A+ they nailed it.

Not a lyrical masterpiece, but its well written and there are a few gems in there:

“There was nowhere for me to stay”
great symbolism

“You fire off missiles 'cause you hate yourself
But do you know you’re demolishing me?”

Andrew talks about this in P2D, be ready for missiles on peoples death beds.

“future history”

pretty sharp.

The fact that she cut this stanza short was really creative:

“And if I would’ve known
How sharp the pieces were you’d crumbled into
I might’ve let them lay”

And I think the shortening packs a punch at the end. Is he the renegade, or is she? Or both?

Woke up singing the theme tune to TV series Darling Buds Of May, where everything is “PERFECT :heartpulse:”

Then I saw this clip when searching for the theme tune. “Everything’s perfect wherever you go”. :heartpulse:

“And I said I saw you in the water
And I said I saw you in the water”

When i first heard this song back in december, was going to weite you and ask you what you thought the meaning of this lyrics was.

When i thought about what it meant, my intuition got it right. Do you know what it means (without looking at the comments or other sources of info?

That line echoed on and off in my head for about 4 days.

cover art:

I thought the cover art was cool when i first found this song.

Now I can see deeper synchronicity.

I’m presuming you are asking me

Without looking at anything or listening to the song and just the line"
“And i said i saw you in the water” × 2

Water represents emotions within cosmic consciousness. The one liner is saying that your Pure Awareness is seeing your self (small s) with its (×2) dualistic nature and recognizing the true nature of mind.

You said “in December”, maybe was around the time you watched Moojis when he gave a pointing out instruction.

why would you not listen to the song? lol

\I think you are close.

You are spot on with the water and comic consciousness.

When I was brainstorming what it could mean, the line meaning came to me that he saw her via altered states of consciousness (via dream, vision, psi, etc).

I want sure if this was the meaning. Checked the comments and they were not helpful then had to look up the interview with the artist to see what my intuition had told me was correct.

Until the 4th day, when I found out she had died.

Can you see why there is a synchronicity with the (precognitive ) dream about her and the cover art?

 oh! I think im completely wrong!

I wasn’t sure if your post was meant for me or everyone to comment

I didn’t watch the video, just spoke about that line "

I listened to song now and read some comments :woman_shrugging:

Is your dear friend who died last month part of this synchronicity? That she or you was reflecting something?

Sorry. Difficult for me to understand with little to go on. Like was your friend who passed your girlfriend?

I had a peak experience over the summer to this song. (disregard the entire lyrics other than “This dont even feel like life/”)

I was really happy driving on the road after having just found a sacred solar site that I had been looking for for years. (Very well hidden and dangerous and difficult to get to).

The song came on the radio and it reminded me of meeting my 2 nieces this summer for the first time during a thunder storm (which also was a peak experience). Had not been able to meet them due to tight covid restrictions, and a cancer diagnosis for their mother.

Maybe, but the other lyrics (the song) remind me of why we see images of Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri as well as images of other deities in union—because at the human level, this merging of two is something special, while losing it makes one realize that!
