A return to lucid dreaming

Interesting, thanks! I experience huge variance in recall. Certainly periods where I’m really dedicated, recalling and recording during the night, writing up dream journal entries by day, are times where I usually experience more vivid, longer dreams. Just within the last month, I’ve had some dreams that were unbelievably long, vivid, and detailed, and some nights where I just come away with nothing or just the barest impression of having dreamed.

A couple nights now of increased dream recall. Results dependency and frustration keeps creeping back in, it takes constant diligence to keep it at bay!

three nights in a row of really nice dreaming. Taking a more relaxed approach now. I find I keep gravitating back to TYoDaS practice. MILD seems sort of…artificial. Intent is good, reviewing dreams and finding familiar patterns is good, but the structure of MILD at a waking just doesn’t seem to agree with me much. I’m not ruling it out, but I find myself wanting to just return to abiding lucidly in the present moment throughout the day.

I agree with this approach 100%

Natural is my preffered MO.

I think for people who have never had a LD before, MILD is a great way to get a taste of it. Also a good technique if you really need guidance from the dream state. But letting things flow as they may seems to be best route for me, coupled with Mindful daytime practices and meditations.
