My name is Yeliena, and I was born and raised in Russia and came to the US with my best friend at the age of 20, jumped off the place to fall in love with NYC and stay there for 9 years.
5 years ago I found myself in Hawai’i.
I did not grow up paying any serious attention to my dreams but I had a dream journal on and off.
In the past 5 years I got more serious about my lucid dream practice but also would start and stop as life took over and charted my course for me for a while.
But I am sticking to it this time around! yeah!
I have been watching the 6 videos that Mia and Andrew recorded and are integrating the practices they taught into my day.
My main interest is insight into emptiness and becoming lucid in the process of dying.
But I am a deep sleeper so sometimes I get discouraged because I do not remember any dreams.
Like from this past night, I just remember the word “hospital” haha
But I am determined!
If you have any tips for me, please share them away!
So grateful to have you all, may you have the most epic lucid dream tonight!
I have visited Hawaii and it left inside me the wish to one day live there!.. I have travelled the world and this was the only place where I felt this. (I already LOVE where I live - Portugal, Caparica, by the beach).
I often say “Aloha” to people, perhaps because of this connection of the Soul that I felt there.
Having this written, I feel happy that you are here with us. (and I’m very intuitive… hihihi)
this is where the magic usually can happen
lucid dreams are great guides for that.
from my experience, even though it might be challenging in the beginning, deep sleepers have a higher chance of experiencing long lucid dreams
will do so on the other thread you created.
yuhuuuuuuu! let’s see what happens…
thank you for your wishes.
indeed… there’s so much Love here. hope you can feel it.
good idea!..
Infinite Blessings and Love to you and your dreams
Hiii! and thank you for your encouraging words and greetings!
I have not seen the free Lucidity Induction videos with the Dream Team trio, where can I find them? Thank you for your recommendation!
Thank you for all of your kind words, dear!
Yes, Hawai’i is a special place indeed.
I hope you can find yourself here again as it sounds like you have a soul connection with it.
Do you live in Portugal now? My husband and I considered moving there for a split second but ended up staying back.
And thank you for what you said about deep sleepers.
I know how I can help myself remembering: do not move when wake up and get to your journal.
I always knew that was the way to go but lately I would wake up and feel so rushed to get up, that my dreams will be so hard to recapture when I tried to write them down.
in the past couple of days I promised to myself to take my time to transition from sleep to daytime and it is already working!
This morning, for example, I woke up and thought there for a moment: Shoots, I do not remember anything. But here I was, staying put, ignoring my desire to go to the bathroom (lucid dreamers might be champions in that:), and dreams started to come up. As soon as I had a “gist” for each one, I rolled to my side and pulled out my journal and wrote them down.
Patience, patience, and more patience and lots of practice = secret lucid dreaming sauce!?
a-ha… yes, this way it’s more difficult to remember.
wonderful.
great!
hahaha! I love your creative words
yes, it’s one of the good things about waking up to go to the toilet! I have changed my drinking habits to change that I usually drink liquids only until lunch. It works!
I think I will yes! I have other places to visit though first, like Japan
YES. When the magic happens it’s ALL so worth it… and I have developed the skill to enjoy it all, as much as I can… that also works…
