First visit to the nearby mall in almost a year. Found a store there that had Mystery Bins of rejected and returned Amazon products along with other product dumps. Each day of the week has a different price for anything you find in the Bin. Today was $8, so we’re headed back Thursday when it’s $2 an item.

Standard Tibetan, you’ll see them all over Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan. Represent the 5 elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space) and the prayers on them are carried on the wind.

Any Dharma item that is to be disposed of will be burned, such as pictures, prayer books, torn flags. It’s out of deep respect. Similarly, one should treat Dharma books, objects, figures, documents with utmost respect, keeping them off the floor and in disrepair.
