I wish I would have known about Buddha‘s teachings of vedanas much earlier. As a much younger person, I often tried to discuss with others about the „mental taste“ of experiences (as I called it). Like the „taste“ of perceiving a flower, a cloud, whatever, the subtle friction in the mind space directly when perceiving an object. Good to know now that there is even a Pali word for it.
