I just saw the âPresidential pardonâ topic thread. Sounds like it means we can keep using the topics on this website.
Does that mean the new website wonât have an area for topics?
My understanding is that this website Discussion forum will continue for members. âFamous last words?â
It already does, but the format is cumbersome and not as user-friendly as this one, in my opinion. There are already discussion posts there, but not much discussion. I prefer this forum and Chelsea told me it will continue, while the rest of site dies.
Lets ride Brother
Very good news
The trailer is a Grand Slam, but when I saw the movie about a decade ago, I was disappointed. Might be time for another view, though knowing what I know mow.
That and more. Your first post to me here really hit home, as did many othersâŚ
I just signed up for the new Night Club website and yeah, it doesnât seem nearly as user friendly as this old site. Is there a way to navigate to a topic area or create a new topic area on the new site? Or are topic areas totally gone?
Agreed for the forums.
Getting to the videos is better on the new site.
Hoping they can find a way to integrate the Wisdom from these forums on there.
Are there topic areas? If so, how do you navigate to them?
Iâm not a paid member so perhaps canât access much of the video content. Or is there free video content? If so, how do I find it?
I think so
Not sure, have not posted a thread there
It seems like the topic list to choose from is pretty short, meditation, lucid dreaming, etc. Not 100% sure but will find out
Yeah a list of messages on different topics but no clear topic areas.
I use a mobile app on android but Iâd imagine it is similar on iPhone and web browsers.
Images attached:
From what I see in the browser the same menu is available but you have to click the left side of the screen.
"Three content-based spaces: Whispers of Wisdom, Lucid Dreaming Courses and Book Study Groups. Since Iâm not enrolled in Lucid Dreaming Courses and Book Study Groups (the times for these generally donât fit my work schedule) that leaves âWhispers of Wisdom.â Nice quotes but not the same as the dynamic exchange of posts and discussion in various topic areas on the old site.
Iâm guessing that I wonât be using the new site that often unless there is a way to navigate and exchange stuff around specific topics.
I will try downloading the app for my iphone to see if it is any more user friendly. Up until now Iâve been just accessing it through my laptop.
The discussion section seems to be what would be comparable to this forum.
The bulliten style board is a âpulseâ style. I wrote about it a little bit in my introduction post:
I âjoinedâ everything I could and Iâll just keep an eye on the feed.
Itâs the new style that Reddit also uses. However, at least you have the option there to go back to âThe old ways.â I look at NC 2.0 as more of a repository for content because, letâs face it, there are maybe ten active discussants on NC 1.0 while the other 1-2K members mostly come for âthe Holececk content.â Not a big deal though if they keep this baby afloat! Itâs kewl!
So far Iâm not really liking the new âpulsedâ model. Not much depth to it. I donât really see how to follow a particular thread with a particular topic, or to engage in deeper discussions and posts where one can follow a particular thread. Perhaps I have more to learn and I will get used to it. Time will tell.
Under âdiscussionsâ I see topic areas along the top, but I donât see how to start a new topic. Is there a way to do that?
Are you able to post in the Resources section?
Couldnt find the link
Under âJoin in the Discussionsâ I see topics listed:
Meditation, Lucid Dream, Dream Yoga, Sleep, More.
Then under "More: is Yoga Nidra, Preparation for Death, Other.
My question is, are those are only topic choices? Or is there a way to create new topic choices?
