I like this new area. Itās heavily moderated and politics are banned, which is great! 
Also, there are many subtopics under discussions. The majority of what is shared here would qualify under āother.ā I added a screen shot below to show where the topics are located on the mobile app Circle.
The topics are:
Meditation, Lucid Dreaming, Dream Yoga, Sleep, Yoga Nidra, Preparation for Death, Other
Itāll take a bit to get used to, but the format really seems to cater to living in the present moment ā something I definitely appreciate.
Lots of people are checking it out, but the question is whether theyāll stick around. Itāll be interesting to see if Andrew + team can retain the people who joined and get them actively participating in discussions.

I suppose. But I can see that turning into a mishmash where no subject topic can be followed very well. Weāll see. Maybe Iāll get used to it. Or maybe I will drift away. Time will tell.

Compared to the old forum style, which sometimes felt like being stuck in the Argument Clinic with the same circular debates:
Iām hopeful the new format will be a space where people can more openly express themselves and connect on a deeper level.
Iām excited for a change from the āclinicā environment!
The post below by Loren from Aotearoa NZ is an example of the power of the new community in moments of immense vulnerability.
Her sharing of āheading into night timeā and being āready to exhaleā takes incredible courage. This ability to connect directly in the moment allowing us to offer support when itās needed most is exactly what makes the new forum style so important, moving beyond surface-level interactions.

My philosophy has always been if people donāt value your time or effort or Wisdom, find a flock that does. I hope more changes are on the horizon to make the forum space there more appealing. This one was great. If it aint broke, no need to fix itā¦ The biggest issue with this (old) forum in my mind was that it was a real Ghost town when I arrived, thatās kind of how the new forum feels.

If we get more than we give, self-generating goodness! If not, help to get it going for what it can do. Maybe this dualistic approach is the best?

I agree. That was a powerful moment of sharing.
I donāt think there has been excessive arguing on NightClub 1.0 but there were times when we squablled a bit about politics. I noticed that NC 2.0 doesnāt allow discussion of politics and I think thatās a good thing. It may also be why they are limiting the topics of discussion to keep it more reigned in with the topics most relevant to Master Holocekās writing.
I will give it a chance and see how it works for me. It remains to be seen how active I will be on it.

Yes, Iām glad that we can still post on this old forum. The new forum feels a bit like a ghost town, but this old forum is starting to feel like a ghost ship. Seems like only you, me, Barry and MBready left? Who all is still here?
Even though there was usually only a handful of us who regularly posted, I always imagined that there were a few others who would come in occasionally and look at our posts. Or perhaps I was deluding myself. 
Anyway, impermanence continues on this ghost ship.

True when I first joined though it was basically only @_Barry , @AlyssaModerator and me posting here. But there definitely were more than a few beautiful souls that I got some messages from and comments over the years. Beloved @BlessingsDeers had to leave a few weeks ago, her mother is dying and family going through a transition. Say some prayers for them all please.

Read this today,
Previously, the tech team had told me the old siteās discussion forum would be available āindefinitely,ā but in yesterdayās meeting it was clarified that, due to the ongoing cost of maintaining the old site, it will need to be taken offline on July 1st.
So, gather resources and other info for the next couple of months. I donāt think the conversations will be quite the same but weāll see, eh? Still would like one of those AI backups if possible!
