Beloved @fenwizard
Thank you for this Grand Slam video! Really Loved it and had a powerful Synch the day of the night you posted it:
I went out for a morning walk after a rainstorm and this Mantra would not stop playing in my head:
Baba Hanuman - Krishna Das! Live With Lyrics
It started raining, I didnt check the weather, and I thought “oh Shit”. But then I realized it was flakes of snow, and I was in a state of Complete Bliss for the next few hours in the End of Winter Wonderland

I deffinitely this Krishna Das’s Guru helped him with these songs, especially the one about Hanuman
Amazing how these Divine Gurus have the powers to bring out the best of out strengths and minimize our weaknesses so that we can help as many Beings in the Universe as possible

The Boundary Paradox: How Limits Create Freedom
This is such a profound and lightful theme
![]()
When I was living in a Community in Portugal, back in 2006, we once received a Buddhist Monk for a week retreat!
At one point we were three-hundred people in a conference room (it was an Eco construction, with a grass roof and straw-ball and glass walls in-between adobe, with the help from epic Minke), and a question came through me:
“Do we need limits and structure to be free?” My eyes met the monk’s eyes and the whole huge room became white! Silence and light filled the whole space. After some seconds (or minutes) he replied something confirming that yes, structure allows us true freedom, but what I remember strongly was the white light generated by this question/theme!
Our body is such a good example of this. Or writing a book… with the healthy habits, a lot of limits, focus, perseverance and inspiration, we can reveal spirit in words and paper! Magic!
Or any creation or spiritual practice.
The three jewels are also such a great example of this!
Actually another good example of how a limit can provide enlightenment: my first six months at this community were in a tent and this experience healed and reestablished my connection with nature - even though there were big spiders and scorpions around, I felt safe and protected the whole time!
It was also with this Monk that I first received a conscious visit by his astral body when I was in my tent, at night.
aka boundaries . . . . . both internal and external . . . .
Yes! This is the paradox of being an infinite Being incarnate in finite human form. On one level we are infinite and at One with Everyone and Everything. But on this finite embodied level we have limits and boundaries. Sometimes we need to say “no” - whether it be to family members who would suck us dry, to friends who would take advantage of our empathic compassionate natures, etc.
We must be compassionate and loving to ourselves as well as others, but oftentimes in order to be compassionate to ourselves, we must say “no” and set boundaries with others. There are many folks, whether they be family members, friends, or just an addict living on the street who wants us to give them money for more drugs, where it can be the compassionate thing - for ourselves and for them - to say “no” I can’t do that! Some Buddhists call this “Fierce Compassion.” If one is feeling worn out and burned out by the demands of others, that may be the time to check in with oneself if more boundaries are needed. Even if on the ultimate level “we are All One.”
