Former Google boss warns of AI danger & says āhumans will not be able to police itā as computers āthink for themselvesā
Dangers of AI tops health tech hazards list for 2025
Human Misuse Will Make Artificial Intelligence More Dangerous
AI creates what itās told to, from plucking fanciful evidence from thin air, to arbitrarily removing peopleās rights, to sowing doubt over public misdeeds.
Text: Billionaire Marc Andreessen describes a āhorrifyingā meeting with the Biden Administration that convinced him he had to endorse Donald Trump. Competitor companies then classify the physics needed to run AI models āMeetings in DC in May where we talked to them about this, and the meetings were absolutely horrifyingā Reporter āWhat did you hear in those meetings?ā āAI is a technology, basically, that the government is gonna completely control. ā Donāt fund AI startups. Thatās not something that weāre gonna allow to happen. Um, theyāre not gonna be allowed to exist.ā āThey basically said AI is gonna be a a game of 2 or 3 big companies working closely with the government, and weāre gonna basically wrap them in a you know, they Iām paraphrasing, but weāre gonna basically wrap them in a government cocoon.ā āWeāre gonna protect them from competition. Weāre gonna control them, um, and weāre gonna dictate what they do.ā He then talks about the Biden Admins plan to clarify and withhold the technology being used This really is horrifying. Just imagine everything else theyāre doing this with
" In an interview on CBS Newsās āFace the Nation,ā Klobuchar said she was not comfortable with some of the people that President Biden included in his 1,500 commutations in one day ā a record number for any president."
I just saw a fake AI Jordan Peterson video used as an ad for some kind of faith healing program. It was Petersonās face talking about how great the program was but the voice didnāt sound like him at all. It was obviously created by AI, but done so poorly that the voice was all wrong. Iāve seen other advertisements in which the voice sounds like Peterson or Joe Rogan but no face. Seems like such fakes would be fodder for some law suits.
I donāt mind AI parodies. Iāve posted some of Trump myself. And I donāt like the idea of limiting free speech. But I would make a law stating that any AI generated content of any person should be clearly labelled as AI. I would not want an AI deep fake of myself going around on social media saying something that I didnāt say, especially if it wasnāt clear that it was fake. I donāt think any of us would want that! I think that the golden rule should apply here. I think it is the fundamental principle of all ethics.
I would gladly agree to this Law, if you and the rest of America agreed to a law that made diplomatic immunity for politicians obsolute when it pertains to their speech. Meaning if they lied, they would be liable for lawsuits, and not invincible to the Laws of the land, like slander, libel, or defamation.
No one is above the law. Except for:
Politicians.
Hunter Biden
Criminals who donate to Joe Biden.
Iām not quite sure what you are saying, but I think you are saying that politicians would not have immunity if they lie? I would tend to agree, except there is much disagreement about what is a lie and what isnāt a lie. Some have called Trump the āLiar in Chief.ā But Iām sure many others would disagree. If lying politicians wouldnāt have immunity, someone may be in big trouble.
Although it would be great if we could make it illegal for all politicians to lie, it would be pretty difficult to enforce, and as you know there is much disagreement across the political spectrum about what is a lie and what is true in the political sphere. I posted a video of some of Trump alleged lies. Iām sure that the right would allege a ton of lies by various politicians on the left and the left would allege a ton of lies by politicians on the right. I posted some of what is alleged as Trumpās lies. It would be pretty problematic if political lies were illegal, this would tie up many if not most of the courtrooms in the country. I suppose one could sue if you felt that a lie caused personal damage and could prove this.
