The quoted part you included brings up a very valid point. Adobe Firefly which I was able to get beta access to is one of the few companies that isn’t training their model on images that would get them in trouble for copyright infringement (Ethical AI art generation? Adobe Firefly may be the answer. | Ars Technica) . It is pretty good but it is also noticeable that their growth is stunted (maybe for that reason?) . They still do not have outpainting, inpainting and many other features that have been widely available for a long time in programs like stable diffusion. Even though it is stunted, when their product is finished and they tie it into photoshop software I think they will make a fortune.
This article may be a good check out after the one you linked. It could be a reason companies like Google are saying they will lose the AI race to open source software that is decentralized.
I hate to say it, but more often than not I think the writers channel Manjushri’s blade, in order to cut through many of the clouds of bullshit plaguing society.
" That’s the other thing Parker and Stone do very well. They have their finger on the pulse of contemporary society and pop culture in a way that no other show really does. They bring in not just Baldur’s Gate 3 but Miles Morales. When the Social Justice Principal says they probably have a problem with Morales Kyle says that’s not true. He’s a great character who was created with his own story, personality and motivations—not just a black Peter Parker. It’s a great point, and one that I’ve made many times pointing out that diversity is good, but simply race or gender-swapping is tokenistic and lazy."
Great article. Not the funniest episode of SP ever created, but their ability to cut to the essence of problems in hilarious ways is pretty impressive. No wonder why Lucas Film made so many horrible films:
Spoiler Alert:
“Well, that maybe, we should go a different route than we did with Indiana Jones…”
I am kind of curious to see how the new Bambi film turns out with the help of the Pander Stoner…
100% with you on that one. Maybe the meaning was the timing of the posts.
After I saw the two posts backing out if the thread I thought that’s probably all it was for.
I got AI’s opinion too and this seems to be the closest answer to some kind of interpretation:
Each of the five Spiderman drawings could represent different interpretations or versions of Spiderman. Just as Miles Morales is not just a black Peter Parker but a character with depth and individuality, each of the drawings could symbolize distinct versions with their own differences.
