I remember seeing a video that explained one of the Hindu or Buddhist Gods of Death wore skull necklaces.

One interpretation it said was that the skulls represent a conquest over death. Sure there are multiple meanings, but I liked that one the most, and thought it was very fitting with your dream.

I am always amazed by natural art… such as this peach an aunt of mine offered to me yesterday… we were so happy when I spotted this:
