A home run, @BlessingsDeers!!
The perfect companion film would be Astral City, based on the best selling book by medium Chico Xavier, Nosso Lar!:pray::two_hearts:

I LOVE Chico Xavier… his legacy is still vibrating on this planet.
recently, “O Nosso Lar 2” was released (in portuguese):

Nosso Lar 2 - Os Mensageiros 2024 (COMPLETO FULL HD)

(it has automatic subtitles and you can choose portuguese)

it starts really well:
“Death does not exist (…) this is a fact. Life goes on.”

@NightHawk999 I think you might appreciate this movie :deer:

I got a bunch of Monroe Institute Hemisynch CD’s back in the 80’s and went through a phase where I was working with them. But alas, I could never get very far with astral projection. I still have those CD’s in my collection somewhere. Good to know it’s now on Spotify.

@Kalabasis. Ah Yes, I remember seeing Astral City years ago! I had forgotten about it!

I think you are in the right place to sow the seeds of OBEs, some very wise teachers here.

Stole this book from @Dream_Hacker , really looking forward to checking it out.

I found a lot of really good advice here, and things I’d never thought of. Like, the value in pretend/daydreaming/imagination.

Something else that came across my radar was the writings of Tom Campbell, who used to work with Monroe. His book “Tom’s Park” (insane price but maybe can be found at a discount) is basically a visualization guide. He also has an interesting take on things, basically that we are points of consciousness in a virtual reality datastream, and the datastream can come from within us, or from “out there”, or a combination.

The heat of his breath slapped the side of my face as he spat profanities like a warlord.

Stanley was angry again.

Swaggering to the back of the class, he kicked over a chair, then sulked and screwfaced the floor. I tried some ‘teaching techniques’ (which don’t always work, but this time they did), and slowly he edged into the exercise. Time passed, and he was now taking part.

Success.

YES STANLEY!’ I barked loudly in his ear, getting my revenge with a smirk and a side-eye that said ‘I see you’.

You learn a lot when teaching for 25 years in the UK education and community state systems.

Especially when working in London’s most deprived areas in pupil referral units (where they banish the ‘naughty’ kids), alongside senior centres and colleges.

From boys like Stanley, to Shirley with dementia or Rachel with anxiety, regardless of one’s age or background, I noticed that most students need the same things to flourish.

  • SAFETY. If people don’t feel safe, it’s over. Fear inevitably blocks progress and they can’t fully embrace any process. Presence and trust is paramount.
  • UNIQUENESS. A person centred approach. A fish can’t climb a tree but damm can it swim faster than any monkey. Tailored teaching helps the soul shine.
  • IMMERSION. Using experiential learning. Basic forms of learning (like sitting & listening) are sooooo mid-century. Gaining knowledge via direct-experience is proven to be one of the best effective methods.
  • TRIBE. Peer support (or even better, training together) is shown to increase the likelihood of committing to and achieving a goal. But it’s the friendship that keeps them practising beyond it.

So when a podcaster asks me ’ what’s the best technique for out-of-body experiences ', my third eye rolls so far back I can see into my past lives.

There’s not one technique, there’s a multi-faceted approach (we’re multidimensional beings afterall). And it has four fundamental pillars that I apply in diverse ways in each programme pending the nature of the learning journey.

Have a look how it links together in Elevate.

I’ve been experimenting with a visualization I read in “Hacking the OBE Experience” which is attributed to Robert Bruce: “loosening” breathing where on the inhale you imagine your body expanding to the size of the room you’re in and feeling the room’s boundaries constrict around you, and on the exhale imagine you are shrinking down to a tiny point and the boundaries of the room are infinitely far away from you like you’re floating in space.

About 3 different times now on the exhale (tiny point) part of this, I experience a sudden “tugging” like my astral body is trying to work its way out. I seem to have an instinctive reaction of “grabbing hold” of my body and the experience stops immediately. This may be the safety/fear @BlessingsDeers mentions above. Intellectually I don’t feel fear but this is sometime deep seated in the psyche I think. I would definitely like to learn how to encourage this transition and successfully “make it out” and have an OBE!

this is a really good one! never tried it before, but feels assertive.

safety here I think means to be ready for whatever comes, and this is one of the reasons why the “Circle of Protectors” meditation before (or something similar) is so important.

from my experience, the way is through patience and allowing that “deep seated in the psyche” as you wrote so well, to slowly slowly let go. or by doing a trainning.

How do you do this “Circle of Protectors” meditation?

Thank you both for this.

This is Genius! Thank you Dear Brother!

Very interesting, I wonder if it may be tied to the vibration feeling many people say they feel right before doing AP or OBEs?

I know nothing in this department, but perhaps using Master Holecek’s Reverse Meditation techniques throughout the day could help?
Finding mildly contractive experiences that you habitually contract around, and trying to relax into them?

Start small with nails on the chalkboard, then barking dogs, then work your way up to watching full episodes of The View…

" Focus Levels Overview

Focus 1 – Normal, everyday waking consciousness. Completely in phase with physical matter reality. Also referred to as “C1 Consciousness”.

Focus 10 – The physical body is deeply relaxed while the mind remains conscious, awake and alert. “Mind awake, body asleep.” This is the first state of consciousness explored in our Gateway Voyage program.

Focus 11 – The Access Channel – the ultimate communication channel to all levels of awareness -mental, physical, and emotional. Opened during each Human Plus® exercise.

Focus 12 – A state of expanded awareness while the body remains deeply relaxed and asleep.

Focus 15 – A state of No-Time. Consciousness is now far removed from physical body signals. Linear time is no longer relevant to experience. Sometimes referred to as the Void or Pure Potential.

Focus 18 – Through Focus 18, individuals can cultivate a state of unconditional love and acceptance, leading to profound personal growth.

Focus 21 – On the very edge of perception of the time/space continuum. Mind remains fully conscious and active. The Bridge to other realities.

Focus 22 – On the border between time/space and non-physical states of being. Comatose.

Focus 23 – The condition in which an individual may find him or herself immediately following physical death. The territory of the ‘new arrivals’.

Focus 24 – The site of non-physical activity generated by simple or primitive religious or cultural beliefs.

Focus 25 – The expression of the major organized religious beliefs in recent human history.

Focus 26 – Here are identified certain areas, few in number, containing the structures and knowledge of various highly individual religious and other beliefs based on direct experience of self.
(Focus Levels 24 to 26 are referred to as the Belief System Territories; thought-responsive environments that are explored extensively during the Lifeline and Exploration 27 programs)

Focus 27 – The edge of human thought capacity. The site of a way-station (not a terminus) for rest and recovery from the trauma of physical death, for reviewing life events and for planning the next phase of life.

Focus 34/35 – The area of the Gathering. Beings from many other locations within the physical universe are gathered here to witness the upcoming Earth Changes. First mentioned in Bob Monroe’s second book, Far Journeys.

Focus 42 – I-There cluster consciousness.

Focus 49 – Sea of I-There clusters."
