✂️ Creator's Corner

Thought it would be fun to have a thread where we can share different creative stuff we are involved in, whether it’s arts and crafts, writing, music, video, animation, etc.

I’ll start:

Here’s an amigurumi doll I made of my first DnD character Tetso the Tortle Monk (basically a ninja turtle).

Great topic, the amigurumi doll looks amazing! :sparkling_heart:

Made this over the weekend.

Got the concept from a stone my wife found on a hiking trail. They write on the back a Facebook group and people document where the stone travels to.

We took the one we found with us to the beach and set it on a railing for some one else to find:

The first one I made is in memory of a chipmunk. The next couple I plan to place on hiking trails around us.

Monks make some of the best Ninjas

Beautifully crafted my friend!

( The insight came to me this might be a cool side hustle, by doing dolls of religious (Moses) or realized people (MLK Jr), and selling them at church gift stores/ spiritual shops)

With this thread I became conscious of the SO MANY things I am constantly creating. One of them I just shared at another thread - 🥑 Healthy Foods - #43 by BlessingsDeers

I have been painting a canvas for more than a year now… the last layer asked for silence and integration for a long time! I chose this particular creation to share here when it’s ready.

I LOVED your Ninja creation! Made a bridge to family constellations, and how cool it would be to have them in this material instead of the normal Lego plastic version… thank you for sharing and for this fantastic new thread!

Yehaaaay!

May this enthusiasm infuse our co-creations with infinite joy and luminous creativity.

Beautiful! What do the black, yellow, red colors mean? Not familiar with Tara iconography.

@Bucket

Red aura with yellow outer aura and black is the wooden background mount. Received round water color paper and water colors for my birthday (Jan) and bought a $5 wooden mount from Target to hold the round paper.

A-ha… now I think I know where your strong intuition comes from… Capricorn? (all my Capricorn friends have really GOOD psychic abilities!..)

Do you know if the red and yellow auras have particular meaning? I’m curious because these colors remind me of the 4 alchemy stages: nigredo (black)- death or breaking down; albedo (white)- purification; citrinitas (yellow)- dawning of light and a new life; rubedo (red)- integration. Curious whether these particular colors have meaning in Tibetan Buddhist iconography.

Beloved @NightHawk999 your sharing of the beautiful poems from Juan Ramón Jimènez

particularly the one of the sky,
inspired me to share this poem I wrote in the beginning of August:

The star blue sky

"A blue sky fixed on my gaze
a pink layer
in the silence of the birds flying, of the wind blowing.
I see a blue so blue
that is now full of stars.

Stars do shine during the day
and in my quietness I can see that glow
because I have all the stars in me.

In the middle of chaos
I discover my peace,
and the roots of my being.

In the voices of strangers,
a known liberty."
