This is an interesting explanation for Deja Vu, a phenomenon that many have struggled to understand. What is shared here makes sense – but is it definitive? See for yourself.
Interesting read, cool that science is trying to measure it.
I think I read this before . . .
hahaha… “deja-lu” ?
On a more speculative thought - maybe our interpretation of time is wrong. Maybe we are sitting in a boat on a river floating along and watching the shoreline “moving” past us?
I wonder how the phenomenon of “deja-vu” could be interpreted if one accepts the hypothesis that time is non-linear, and that linearity is an illusion??
Haha! You caught me…
I was thinking of something similar earlier today. If one accepts the hypothesis that precognitve dreams and dreams of clarity are real, then perhaps the person experiencing Deja vu, did actually experience the situation before, just in a vivd dream that they forgot.
I would not have picked up on these types of dreams if I had not started keeping a dream journal last May. I doubt more than 1% of the pooulation actively writes down their dreams every day. And regardless of how many dreams you write down, I think the vast majority of people dont remember all of them (myself included).
Interesting Synchronicity this morning:
I was walking early just as the sun was rising. It was very windy and unusally warm (about 50 degrees F). I looked up and saw a Redtailed hawk fly over head in a linear direction East but also making loops, easily cutting through the chaotic waves of air. Then about 30 seconds latter another Redtailed hawk flew over head, at the same height and in the same linear direction, making similar loops. Reminded me of the Matrix cat.
Had to do a reality check, I wasnt dreaming…
