TeeBee - Joining the Community -

Hello esteemed dreamers,
TeeBee from Central Europe is delighted to join the Night Club Community.
I am an experienced dreamer in the realms of Jungian, Existentialist and Creative dreaming.
I have had some spontaneous lucid dreams before - flying, walking through walls, flying danger, etc.
Now, as a “fresh retiree”, my wish is to improve lucid dreaming more thoroughly.

And here i would like to share one of me weirdest dreams lately:

“Time flows backwards”

“A big garage where I’m with a group getting ready for our return (?).
Someone is trying to fix something in the past.
As he doesn’t succeed, I take over the task.
Time now runs backwards and various bizarre situations arise.
For example, I am tied up and try to untie myself - and the ropes disappear of their own accord.
On a winter slope, skiers are sliding backwards up the slope.
A group of teenagers arrive in the opposite direction; they slide down sitting on a plastic tray.
A room we’d tidied up … and here it is again in disarray.
On the way back to the garage I climb a wall. It’s a rock wall, but with opera boxes.
My sister R. still wants to take a shower. And so do I.”

Context:
The day before, I attended a meditation class. Our instructor talked about ‘changing the bath water’. Replacing the water that’s dirty because of our stress with clean, scented water.

In the evening, we went to the theatre with my wife and a friend. We saw a comedy about the fear of losing sexual potency at a certain age. As far as I’m concerned, I’m already past that age.

With all my heart and devotion.

yehaaaaay! :dolphin: welcome Thomas. so welcome! I have a cousin whose name is Thomas! I was with him yesterday! :brown_heart:

yes, very wise to be doing so.

I LOVE that you give titles to your dreams, or at least, to this dream.
I learned to do that with Robert Moss, in the context of sharing them. :brown_heart: but honestly, I haven’t done that lately… I will do so more often. thank you for the inspiration.

this reminded of my last lucid dream… I shared it here:

this is so touching… Infinite Blessings to you and your family.

What a Blessing!
I was just thinking the other day Thank God I dont have the ‘mind’ of a teenager anymore, LOL. Talk about liberation!

Really cool dream, this is actually one of my LD goals to slow down time to a complete halt, speed it up, and reverse it:

Great symbolism!

Sounds like now you have all the time to make up for (possible) lost time :star_struck: You are in the right place from Dream work, so many great resources and people here to help. With a little elbow grease, I dont think you will be disappointed by the results.

Love this symbolism. My take is it possibly means not just cleansing the body, but the mind as well, and with a clear mind, it opens the floodgates to flashes of insights into problems, as well as a reevaluation of is the problem actually a problem or not.

No doubt changing ones perspective on time can help many problems dissolve.

Welcome to the club, very excited to hear your insights on Dreaming and Jung!

@fenwizard might have a thing or 2 to say about Carl  Would love to hear yall talk shop :star_struck:

Welcome, friend!

This dream stands out to me. I experience these kinds of dreams as well—except an entire dream plays out, then I come to a decision and rewind the dream exactly as it was back to a turning point to make a new decision. Time is a funny thing.

When I began experiencing these kinds of dreams, I sought the guidance of Chronos. If you become lucid and are able to remember, say in your dream voice, “I seek the guidance of Chronos.” There are many fables about gods of time. One thing I have a pretty deep understanding of from my experience with them is that beings’ perceptions of time travelers arise from their own projections. A being like Chronos was largely feared because of what his control of time meant, in my opinion. After he dipped into a new timeline (I have seen him in various realms many times), what was left behind was a shell to be filled with projections of those around him. I don’t think the hostory books got it right on his past.

Time is something I am very passionate about. If you ever have any dreams like this in the future, I’d love to hear about them.

Cheers to the retirement :beers: and welcome, fellow time traveler.

How I understand you… :brown_heart: Portugal and Lisbon are AMAZING places to visit and to live

Today I was reading a fascinating book, I remembered something you wrote:

“Certainly it is the time that she (the soul) can more freely ration at her ease, when the body, which is her prison, does not hold her too restricted from care and daily affairs.”

Page 37 of the original french edition “Dreams and ways to lead them” by D’Hervey de Saint Denys, Buenosbooks 2008 edition.

“The Delicacy of internal perceptions during sleep: It is clear that when the soul is not occupied with the external senses it feels more deeply those things which belong to the disposition of the body.”
page 34 of the same book.

same same!
