Dream Books

Never read this, but now I am very curious. I know he wrote about premonition dreams in his play(s). I talked with a lady tonight who told me one she had. Too tired now to write it out but will tell you tomorrow.

My bad, typo, spelling is not a strength. Just meant I had the holiest day of the week set aside for that book, and the other 6 days I would read other books.

Dont have a place to talk books, other than with Andrew, but would be open to a book club here in the forums, if you and others are interested in picking a good dream book to read together. :slightly_smiling_face:

page 145 from “Dream and Shakespeare”:
“The ship, another of Freud’s birth- and associated symbols, is even more frequently represented in the romances than is the chest of the coffer. The arrival of a newborn infant in the plots of these plays is inevitably paired with an account of a sea voyage: Marina receives her name from this circumstance, but it is also true of Perdita and Miranda. More metaphorical births, births of awareness and revelation, are also associated with ships and voyages, for example, the Neapolitan ship which founders through Prospero’s intervention, and the ship which carries shepherd, clown and Polixenes to Sicilia with news of Perdita’s identity”
this part I read yesterday, and linked to a sharing in another message here at NCC, where I shared that one of my most recurrent dream themes is traveling :rose: it makes all sense, since I naturally start things, just like spring :dolphin:
I am adoring this book… it’s FULL of - I will use metaphors honoring the book itself: chocolate and pearls
one of the reviews of the book goes like this: “Garber has always been so very good taking something that we thought we knew and showing us how much more interesting and surprising in fact it is.”

I would do a book club with this book, even though, as you know, I’m very focused. Perhaps we could have a maximum of people… like 4 or 5, so that the energy doesn’t become too spread out. I’m also a fan of organic things, so I consult with you about that…
It could also be about any other book that I’m currently reading - I share a picture of the ones on my desk:

I’m waiting for another one to come very soon… I will share it here when it arrives.

intuition was fast on this one. it seams that I don’t need to buy this book, so I gladly receive that information you mentioned (pages 77-78) whenever you have it, in any form you choose, and in the right moment (your timings are perfectly aligned with the universe :rose: ). thank you.

yes… and many other interesting things that Garber uncovers so well :star_struck:

great. looking forward to reading it
no need to hurry… please respect your rhythm.

it has arrived today, while I was listening to this music…

and drawing a woman with wings - Maria da Luz, the woman who helped me Solimar - soon will be her birthday and I offered it to her… :rose:

The book:
I started reading it in the sample Amazon offers… was deeply touched by three pieces that brought me profound understanding of important things and occurrences in my dream life, and intuition confirmed it was to buy it:

yehaaaay!

I think I remember you mentioning this book a few weeks ago. Excited to hear how it turns out.

I will try to get a copy of the exact passage for you, might take a week or a few, but it is important for you (and others) to see, so it will be worth the wait.

Thank you, wanted to write about it today because I had a big synchronicity with a video I watched, but out of time, will write later, hopefully this too will be worth the wait.

Really appreciate you writing out this passage, I have two very meaningful ship dreams last year, along with an ‘abyss’ dream, all of which i think may be tied together, and may also be tied to the beginings of awareness ‘birth’ or beginging to open or open more.

Also go back and read your Christmas gift, my dear friend, I think I mention travel there  :innocent: :racehorse:

Would prefer to keep the Book club here in the forums if there is any interest other than us two. Easier to relpy, and would not need meeting times, just post about when people have free time.

I am down to read that book after reading that passage, and from your reccomendation. :slightly_smiling_face:

this sounds perfect.

yes, you do…how could you not?

tonight I dreamt super lucid. among many adventures, one of them was to watch a boat falling from the skies into the sea… I had never experienced such a thing…it was awesome! the sailor came out, up some stairs coming out of the sea and… when I look back to see where it went, a dear friend comes and offers me food in an amazing “plate” I hugged her in joy and honoring how special it is to receive food in dream.
before this I was with Andrew Holececk :star_struck: it was one of my most amazing lucid dreams ever! I was also with monster men - with heads of animals - so they were probably deities…

There is one important detail: when I became lucid I was trying to have an active voice and action the dream, with no luck… then a voice said “get up”. I did, and that’s when I became super lucid!
@barry could this be a secret found by experience? when things are not happening, to get up, or taking a stand, or simply, standing up consciously.

Tonight when I woke up after the first three dream cycles, I did a mudra… @NightHawk999 is there a topic here at NCC about mudras? I could share it there. it’s a really good one for when you wake up hungry and there’s no sense in that hunger - I do the mudra and it always works. but this time… it was also leading me to this incredible dream!

@Agama you might enjoy reading about this dream :star_struck:

Tagged you in a thread, couldnt find much on the topic.

Very awesome dream, talk about synchronicities raing down, last night I too had a ‘ship’ dream:

I was in and advanced spaceship and there was a hostle AI running the ship (kind of like in the movie 2000 Space Odessey). I was trying to dismantle the AI so I could fly they space ship.

Going to think your dream over and see what insights come to mind. Right off the top of my head I would say the significance of the Sky and the Sea should not be overlooked :star_struck: :star_struck: :innocent: :star_struck:

I will create it then. Probably in the new moon
thanks for checking :rose:

so interesting…
my whole day was EPIC…
and connected several times with you and NCC.

at first, I thought it was a shooting star. glad I kept my attention on it to discover it was a boat.

Just read chapter 1 of this book last night, highly reccommend this chapter, really helped me understand what Andrew meant when he talked about reality being a collective dream:

(passage from chapter 1):

I have read the book a few years ago. Didn’t need to go very far with it because all his words were deeply resonating with me.

the videos you shared reminded me of this author:

he explains things in a very clear, intelligent, humorous and loving way :rose:

today I opened a nut, as usual (I eat one, at least, everyday) and, for the first time, there was this:

I thought of you @NightHawk999

some yes, others not at all. they were many… it was a kind of a convention, it was when I went outside that I saw the boat falling from the sky and beautiful things I had never ever seen before.

LOVED this video, he is very funny and smart. And that pic of the Walnut made my day

Have you watched this video by him, another home run!:

I hadn’t seen it yet, had looked at it, but did not take the action to watch it. something inside was saying “one day I’m getting there” hihihi :star_struck:
thanks to you, I watched it today! also very good. I LOVE this author, he has written many books and I met him personally in Bristol at a writing workshop event. His personal story and approach are very touching, his work is very clever and full of God

so glad to know. I shared it on my stories (facebook and instagram) and realized how pictures indeed contain such powerful messages touching each person in a very specific way - I saw then in the pic that behind a hard cover, there’s always a heart, and that we are all connected.

I forgot to say that I toast the walnuts… learned that with Dave Asprey - it makes a difference in the taste and in the way the body assimilates it.
At the moment I’m also taking “moringa” - started three days before this dream occurred. My diner on that night had been a shiitake mushrooms pie (I was wondering if that was also influencing such a incredible dream…)

The fact that some cultures considered this type of Mushroom a ‘medicinal mushroom’, supports your thesis. If it helps make the body heathly and happy, the body will be more likely to relax and get better night sleep. I would be very interested to see in the future if these mushrooms continue to produce incredible dreams, I will do some R&D as well and get back to you in a few weeks. (interesting synchronicity, I was walking the produce section of the grocery store and for the first time in months, stopped at the mushroom section to look at what they had and made note to research the healthiest ones, and come back and get them to incorporate into my diet…)

Lol, glad I could help you arrive at the ‘destination’ on time and safely

The story of his back pain reminds me of this Intuition treasure:

so many whispers @NightHawk999 … My Goddess… there’s something really strong about our connection… I surrender to it
one of the difficulties in these variables is that there’s also the moon, our body’s needs and others… but just the fact that I thought about it and that it had a resonance with you, means something. I had the shiitake pie again (I notice it’s medicine food for my digestive system), but no exceptional dreams - perhaps because I also appreciate normal quite nights…

for me, she’s a genius :star_struck:
and this video is just that - simple and straight to the point.

what is this?

reading “Women who fly” today, discovered that Nut is the Goddess of the Sky and also the mother of Isis - I have also found out that Isis is connected to Sirius

I have also found the following on that same book “Women who fly”:
“Some of the earliest known human stories are about traveling skyward, and quite early in history we find rituals designed to recall and duplicate descents of the gods that had opened a path between heaven and earth, or to enact human ascents through ropes, ladders, mountains, or trees, or by imitating the flight of birds”.

I was also blown away by discovering that it’s been an ancient shamanic tradition to unite both energies feminine and masculine together in the same individual, by for instance, men wearing women’s dresses - “women’s clothing possess spiritual and healing power, also perhaps indicating that the first shamans were women”.

Another interesting thing was to find out that:
“According to the Oxford English Dictionary, nightmare derives from the Middle English (from the period 1150 to 1500) word ‘mare’, which meant a ‘female evil spirit thought to lie upon and suffocate sleepers’. This had developed from mære in Old English (the earliest historical form of the English language, brought to Britain by the Anglo-Saxons in around the 5th century) – so it’s clear concerns about anything that interrupts a good night’s sleep have been around for a long time.”

I also came across the Tibetan Tantra tradition where there’s a “body rainbow” - when death approaches they rise into the sky and dissolve into space.

This book was suggested by Robert Moss…
In humbleness and perhaps grand ignorance, I would say that this book has wings… (Robert has mentioned sometimes that there are “winged scrolls”…)
when I open it, it gives me understanding and synchronicities beyond any expectation… it touches my heart and soul… and this is just the beginning…! :rose:

I surrender as well to it, these synchronicities are very inspiring

Speaking of the moon, I hope you have something special planned for this new moon :dolphin: :slightly_smiling_face:

Great mind thinks alike. Textbook :aquarius:

Lol, reasearch and development, was truning to be funny

Maybe this ties into your dream with the ship (vessel) coming down from the sky?

I have heard some people say that some of the Shamans in ancient cultures were a 3rd gender. Makes sense to me.

Have heard this too, also heard people disolving into bright white light, along with instances of rainbow body.

the only thing planned is to start a theme here on NCC about Mudras :star_struck:
the rest I will just let it flow :dolphin:

lovely.

maybe… one thing that I find fascinating about the dream world (and intuition) is to discover the meaning of things along several layers, through a timeline.

yes, they were

amazing! once, in a intuition moment, to explain about a certain theme, I saw myself transforming from a person around the fire into a dolphin cloud in the sky.
