Throughout 2022 Àlex initiated The Future Scientist conversation series, a monthly virtual encounter to understand where science is going and to reimagine where we hope it might go.

Maintaining the spirit and the format intact, in 2023 the series expanded its scope and morphed into The Future Human as a natural continuation of the quest to reckon whence and whither humanity.

Now, in 2024, Àlex will continue to curate and host such conversations to address The Future Mind, seeking to gain clarity and insight into important contemporary matters that require both urgent action as well as deep reflection.

FREE ONLINE LIVE TEACHING ON 24 OCTOBER

In Buddhist philosophy, impermanence is seen as a fundamental truth of existence—everything that arises must cease. Everything changes. Nothing and nobody ever stays the same. While this can seem unsettling at first, truly understanding impermanence can free us from the attachments and expectations that lead to suffering. By accepting that all things—our experiences, relationships, emotions, even our very selves—are in a state of constant change, we learn to release our attachment to permanence, which is a root cause of human suffering.

► UNDERSTANDING IMPERMANENCE – REDUCING SUFFERING

► 24 October 2024, 19:00 to 20:30 CEST (local time Vienna, Madrid, Berlin)

► Online live via “Zoom”

► PRICE: free of charge

► REGISTRATION: Required

► INFO & REGISTRATION: www.tulkulobsang.org/tourplan

► Tulku Lobsang teaches in English. German, Spanish, Portuguese and French simultaneous translation available.

The participants will get access to the video recordings of the teaching.

By cultivating awareness of impermanence, you can navigate life’s inevitable challenges and losses with greater ease, finding peace in the flow of existence. Whether you are new to Buddhism or seeking to deepen your understanding, this lecture offers valuable insights for personal growth and transformation.

Greetings fellow sojourners @_Barry @fenwizard @NightHawk999 @mbready @Dream_Hacker @amandagraygems @BlessingsDeers! Although not 100% sure how or where to post this, being the only occasional visitor to NCC, this is where I have landed with this share. With wishes for your happiness, one and all!

On November 7 a big blessing for me and Ellie manifested through a profound breathwork/auditory healing protocol called 9D gifted to us by a dear friend we rekindled relations with whilst attending our beloved friends wedding. This method further surfaced and peeled away layers of deeply held grief and longing for and about our recently transitioned son Matthew. And like the Bufo 5meodmt experiences I’ve had, brought me to see feel and become, albeit briefly, the Mother Light of Nirodha. What a gift to anchor one’s life to! Our dear friend and now very skilled facilitator of the 9D is Nikki Clifton, a most gentle and kind and shining soul.

or see taste with your eyes"

A few years ago while reading a book about remote viewing and psychic abilities, the guy talked about this phenomena, I think there is a word for it, forget what its called. Pretty cool

Greetings @NightHawk999 !
I’m always so elevated when Unity manifests via divine synchronicity, brother! Thank You! Praise be!
It was during Andrew‘s Pure Land workshop last spring that I first heard of the Mother Light of Niroda. Here’s what I understand about it thanks in part to AI; Mother Light of Nirodha" refers to a concept within spiritual traditions, particularly associated with the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, where the “Mother Light” represents the divine consciousness, while “Nirodha” signifies the state of cessation or extinction of suffering, achieved through the transcendence of desire and craving; essentially signifying the experience of pure, divine consciousness attained through the Mother’s grace and guidance.
Andrew described how a journey through the bardos to Dharmakaya is a “ Mother and child reunion”. (With a tip of the hat to Paul Simon of course!)

Thank you for this :star_struck:

LOVE this explanation, beautifully stated,

Thank you dear Brother

"
In Buddhism, nirodha, “cessation,” “extinction,”[1] refers to the cessation or renouncing of craving and desire. It is the third of the Four Noble Truths, stating that suffering (dukkha) ceases when craving and desire are renounced. [1]

According to Thubten Chodron, Nirodha is the final disappearance of all bad experiences and their causes in such a way that they can no longer occur again.[2] This is achieved through the cultivation of the Noble Eightfold Path, which includes the practices of right understanding, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration. The attainment of nirodha leads to the realization of Nibbana (also known as Nirvana), a state of perfect peace and freedom from suffering."

amazing waves of life… thanks for sharing the minutes mark!
what I notice is that sometimes, in the middle of a pure love moment, my thoughts kind of feel ignored… hihihi so, I usually talk with my thoughts saying “just feel the love…” and it works!
I will watch it all soon!
