@_Barry. Here’s a stolen iphone story for you: Last summer my wife’s iphone was stolen at Writing-on-the-Stone Provincial Park in Alberta, Canada. She must have set her phone down briefly and someone ran off with it. After searching frantically around the park for it and not finding it she reported it as lost or stolen to the park rangers. We thought she’d never see it again. Luckily a few days later I got a call on my phone that her phone had been found along the side of the road and turned in. It was completely smashed like it had been driven over and it was non-functional. We assume that whoever took it tried to open it and couldn’t and so tossed it out the window of their car. Luckily she had an Applecare plan on it, so was able to turn it into the Apple store for a new phone! Amazing that she ever saw that phone again!
