Cool!! Lotus and heart

Since the start of learning about Buddhism I’ve always looked at lotus flowers on a pond or lake since finding out it blooms unmarked (pure) by muddy waters, but there is more to it I read here:

Thank you for sharing your synchronicities, that i find always amazing, seemingly devinely timed. :hibiscus:

@mbready the lotus used on the patient care leaflet is lovely and thoughtful to have those prayers of different faiths. :dove:

This 2nd mantra ever since @NightHawk999 posted is my favourite and often find myself humming.

Yes I thought this was amazing by itself. I always express the importance of love above all else. Having heart tied into these synchronicities made it significantly more powerful for me.

It included the two describable, physical objects in “Om Mani Padme Hum”. The jewel, or “Mani” (inner God / Goddess that is within us all). The lotus, or “Padme”, the path of purification one should strive to follow. And lastly, for me, the most important of all, “hart”, according to the plaque, or heart as shown by the painting’s hook, demonstrating what I believe to be the most powerful force in all of creation, love  (I found it to it to be very fitting that love was placed in the center of the synchronicities - jewel, hart, heart, lotus).

After memorizing the mantra and before the synchronicities I began reciting this every time a baby was born in the hospital (they play a nursery rhyme when this happens). My idea behind it was recognizing the primordial sound of creation (“Om” - a baby being born), recognizing them as a God or Goddess incarnate (“Mani”), praying for purification on their journey (“Padme”) and hoping that the mantra is planting the seed for enlightenment.

Yes the power of love that is without hesitation totally unconditional.

Im impressed your Eye of Awareness spotted what you described as a hook. Although from your photo looks more like a D Ring, which in my dream interpreting sign means ‘In the presence wholeness’.

That is such a beautiful thing to do :dove:

Had some synchronicities with the picture you added at the end this morning during some very long astral adventures. I was lucid enough to put into practice what I’d hoped to do and got the chance to meet some very wise teachers who knew how to employ compassion on such a powerful, yet effortlessly simple level.

This is mantra is something I will be trying to incorporate in every one of my lucid dreams going forward :slightly_smiling_face:.

I wasn’t previously familiar with this Achala guy. He looks like a mean MF! I looked him up in Wikipedia. He destroys obstacles to enlightenment.

Gina Sala with a Hanuman chant and teachings. Gina grew up in an Ashram in British Columbia and currently lives (and teaches kirtan) in Seattle.

At a Kirtan in Seattle with some great kirtan musicians a few years ago. I had the blessing of being at this kirtan.

A sweet version of the Tara Mantra. The subtitles at the bottom of the page are not a translation of what she is singing however, but not sure if they’re supposed to be.

Tinna Tinh doing the Dzambhala Mantra.

They’re not. It’s a slice from a movie and the subtitles are from that. Originally posted by @Bianca_Aga
