The thing about the Beatles, for the Boomer generation, is that they kept growing musically as we did in our lives, and every new album they released just extended the “trip.” The Beatles only lasted as a top group from (1962) 1964-71 yet no other group has had such a cultural or musical effect as they. I remember reading about them coming to the US in December 1963, only a few weeks after the JFK assassination, and Beatle-mania really helped the country, maybe the world, move on from that reality-altering tragedy. I even liked the Beatles cartoons that ran for a couple of years.

A funny synchronicity, I clicked the reply notification to see what you had said in responce to my post while listening to Pandora and this song was playing, its the first time I’ve ever heard it and I have to say it is an awesome song.
