Johnny Clegg was a white South African musician who learned guitar styles from black South African musicians as a teenager. His multi-racial band was banned in South Africa during Apartheid but toured around the world. He was also great at South African traditional dance moves as you can see in these videos. I had the pleasure of seeing him perform a number of times.

Yeah, good song in a very good movie that proves the theorem that its sequels can be entertaining but are not as good as the original. There are exceptions, but they are rare. Best exception, Superman 2. Next best, Empire Strikes Back.

Marya Stark is a classically trained songwriting genius. “Saphire” is a full length video album of songs. It’s almost an hour long but in my opinion, a work of brilliant inspiration and feminine genius. Put on a good set of headphones and enjoy.
