Post Malone, Swae Lee - Sunflower
Really good memory behind this one
Was at a party, and was getting ready to head out, bc the music and liquor has begun to get cranked up.
There was a mother ( ) sitting next me on the couch, a friend of the host (who was my friend). The mothers 2 year old son ( ) was to her right, I was to her left. I told the host I was going to head out soon, the music was hurting my ears, she was pretty tipsy, I dont think it registered, but the mom sitting next to me overheard, and got up and walked away.
She came back a min later with 2 pairs of shooting ear muffs, 1 for an adult, 1 for a child, and gave one to me and the other to her 2 year old son. She told me they kept the marksman muffs in the house for this time of night, so their son could still enjoy the festivities.
I thanked her, and put them on, and it was Magic! Perfect volume, and I could literally feel the vibes of the music, resonating on the hard wood, win win. They had tried all night to get the son to dance with everybody, but he was shy. The song Sunflower came on right around that time, and I looked at the 2 year old and started bobbing my head up and down to the beat. he mirrored me, and in about 30seconds was on the dance floor dancing with the ladies.
2 other songs really hit home that night:
Taylor Swift - Sparks Fly (Live)
It was really fun dancing with the host to this one. Her Bf and I had a little tension, bc there was latent feelings between me and her. She put this one on when it was just me and her on the dance floor. I had extreme negative prejudice towards Lady Swift until that night, after that night I became a fan
MAGIC
Host was a child of Venus
She has very good taste
(Except she hated Kanye West.) I asked her if she would dance with me to one of his songs, cuz they would not play any of his stuff the whole night. She agreed. Despite having to briefly close the windows in the middle of the song (vulgarity at midnight), again the harmony and energy was:
MAGIC
Hold My Liquor
I was one of the last people to leave the party.
