Thought was at the top of Andrew’s dialogues with top thinkers and hope you have a chance to listen to it. A little hard to find on the NC site at the moment, for discussing, so I posted it here. The back and forth concerning astrology was illuminating and, as always, I believe the interviewee gained as much from the discussion as did the audience. Some of the “going in” talk got me smiling, given how my self-hypnosis app aims to do just that, going into ones self. So many points to highlight and think about. A rare academic. Worth more than one listen!

I listened to it.
indeed - as someone who studies astrology for 30 years now, I can say that sometimes, a prediction can serve a deep alignment - it’s not the same as going within and finding it for yourself, but it sure helps sometimes. I also loved the conversation about the difference between magic and being a vessel. About this, I would also share that sometimes being a vessel, intuition clearly instructs us to do some magic 
and also the interviewer…

This is a painting by Nicholas Roerich. I find it fascinating that it was used for the cover of this book. I studied with a student of Roerich’s in the '60s. I wonder if he chose it or the publisher (most likely).

I enjoyed the conversation with Andrew a great deal. I could tell he was full of ideas and connections, and I could have listened to him rather than to speak.
Yes, the cover is Beda the Preacher. I have admired Roerich’s work for many years and even visited his museum/house in Manhattan… This painting is not in the NY exhibit. My editor John Riess also admires Roerich, so it was a mutual decision. I was drawn to the sensuous and spiritual warmth of the painting.

Loved what he and Andrew had to say about astrology and the ancient practes of connecting to God/ the Gods.
Andrews 180 turn around on Astrology was exactly my reaction about a decade ago when I started tumbling down the rabbit hole. Not a science, but and Art that uses maths.
