Thought of you while I was camping, and how many people are surprised when I tell them I do trips solo.
From my years of doing this, there is no doubt in my mind that I am never truely alone in those woods. Not just from all the manifest wild life and plants, but also the very subtle unmanifested life of those who once walked this earth, and the overwhelming permeating ubiquity of the Almighty.
Yes indeed! I have done lots of solo nature tripping, although when I do that I tend to keep the dosages lower and I also don’t recommend that for psychedelic beginners (or folks who don’t have much solo nature experience). The Nature Spirits are definitely around as well as the Great Spirit that dwells within All! I have also done traditional Vision fasting where one is just altered by extended solo time in nature and by fasting. I had experience with that years before I even got into psychedelics.

Agreed. Microdosing or nothing at all is the way to go when alone.
I did use natures fungal medicine for this trip, and still felt overwhelmingly connected to the Nature Spirit(s), and the Greatest Spirit.
No justice in words. Always amazed by how things I need or want, seem to manifest in unique and powerful ways. Mindblowing and Extraordinary!
Indeed. Although technically it’s not “microdosing.” “Microdosing” is when you take a dose so small that you don’t consciously feel it. It’s used for cognitive enhancement or to help depression. Taking smaller doses that you can feel I would call “Mini-dosing.” There is a lot of confusion these days about what the word “micro-dosing” means, but perhaps I’m splitting hairs under a microscope. 
Not splitting hairs, I am glad you clarified my ignorance on this. I think many people have the misconception on this term I had.
I will never forget my first minidose, and looking into a big bonfire, and being so captizated by this ‘blast furnace’ of energy, and how it so many spiritual traditions, it symbolizes almost a portal, or connector to the spiritual world.
A friend broke my staring, and started blabbering about how he could see ancient hieroglyphic symbols shooting from my head and around the fire. Rest assured his dosage was over 5grams, and he had nearly overdosed earlier that day.
So not sure if it was the fungus, or he was actually ‘reading my mind’ knwoing I was thinking about ancient stuff. Who knows?

I have spent many an hour on the medicine getting visions from the fire!
And I’m sure that on that kind of dose he would be getting all kinds of information! And yeah at those doses you might also be seeing into friend’s mines as well. Your brain may have been dumping out all kinds of mysterious information!

I was in a really relaxed, mesmerized, state looking at the flame, and I think this is the more ideal state of mind for telepathy, intuition, and sending information through the nondual realm.

For years I have had a sense that a few departed loved ones and relatives have been by my side. Wasnt sure which ones, but been getting some good clarification in these recent years.
I was told by a NA elder once, when he is in prayer, first he prays to the GS, then to his ancestors, then for the needs of the living.
Indeed. Sometimes they are around as Spirit Guides. Traditional cultures always honor the Ancestors. Listen to the song “Ancestor’s Breath” by Sweet Honey in the Rock.

@_Barry. Yes, awahuasca will often reveal the medicinal uses of other plant medicines.

Does DMT (the active ingredient in ayahuasca) take us on a trip through the astral realm?
The astral realm is a plane of existence (as named in Western metaphysical traditions) that is between the physical plane and higher spiritual planes. It may be where we go when we dream. It is said to have many sub-levels from lower hellish realms to higher heaven-like realms.
Last night I dreamt that I was in a ceremony in which we were taking DMT sublingually - a pinch of DMT powder absorbed through the mouth. Unfortunately the dream ended before the effects came on. I’ve tried smoking DMT on a number of occasions, but unfortunately my lungs are sensitive and I cough it out before I can get enough for much of a trip. It’s also the active ingredient in ayahuasca, which I’ve had much more experience with. The dream left me wondering if sublingual DMT would work. It doesn’t work to ingest it orally without the MAO inhibiter contained in the ayahuasca vine. It’s theorized that the pineal gland produces DMT and that it may be involved in dreaming. This hasn’t been proven, but it produces melatonin which is chemically very close to DMT. We also know that there is DMT in the brain and in the gut.
This is a fascinating documentary about the famed psychedelic chemist, Alexander Shulgin, who re-discovered MDMA and also created hundreds of new psychedelic compounds. His wife Ann, was a Jungian therapist and underground psychedelic therapist.

All drugs have Shadow aspects, and often times these are overlooked in the quest for legalization.
I would also add that making it legal, increases the probability that more kids will start experimenting with the drugs often at younger and younger ages. I have observed this with the ‘Weed Epidemic’
That being said, Alcohol is just as destructive, if not more so than Weed.
I think Portugal got it right. Take the drug money out of the cartels hands, and give it to the government, private businesses, and Education and rehabilitation centers.
