I am glad you let me know about this.
@Carolel Shared a story about this dark magic being used. I did not realize how pervasive its usage was.
Iâve also met many beautiful, good and wise shamans. But not everyone who uses this moniker can automatically be trusted. There are also folks who claim to be shamans as an ego trip but who really donât know what theyâre doing.
But then again, there are Western medical doctors, lawyers and business people doing bad stuff and are only in it for the money. âShamanâ does not equal âspiritually enlightened.â
Very true. I think the line âthose who know dont speak, and those who dont, wont shut upâ is very fitting here.
AMEN
I believe in the 80-20 rule. With 20% or less of these professionals being competent, trustworthy, and knowledgable, and with a good heart. In America, it may be far less than 20%.
No, but I think spiritually awakened is fitting.
I wouldnât use the term âspiritually awakenedâ to describe the bad ones. They may have some intuitive capacity to sense what is going on in the âspirit worldâ of entities and nature spirits, but thatâs different than being a highly compassionate being who knows that we are all One and inter-connected on a deep level. If one has the latter realization, then you know that you canât do something bad to another without harming yourself. You lack that understanding of karma.
Some people do âfall backâ or get led astray by one belief or another. Iâve seen that . . . .
Or just never developed that awareness. A realization that we are all One and deeply interconnected, what in Buddhism is called âdependent co-arisingâ is actually a fairly advanced spiritual realization. One can develop perceptions on the âpsychic planeâ, i.e. be able to sense entities, nature spirits, ghosts or what the shaman in a neighboring village is up to, without deeply realizing that âwe are all One, and whatever I do to that person Iâm also doing to myself.â If Iâm throwing curses at the other guy, do I realize Iâm also cursing myself?
That is a fairly advanced level of developmental and spiritual awareness. You can develop fairly sophisticated awareness of what is going on at the level of energies and entities without having that more enlightened understanding of deep inter-connectedness and Oneness.
An interesting book on shamanism is the book âThe Way of the Shamanâ by anthropologist Michael Harner. He distills the essence of what shamanic practice is about across many cultures. He also has developed a âCore Shamanismâ training program that teaches the basics without stealing any particular cultural rituals from any particular culture. I have done some of that training. You learn to develop relationships with helping spirits and learn things like how to remove curses, retrieve soul parts, remove earthbound spirits (i.e. ghosts) etc. But it is very different from the kinds of meditation practices that lead to higher states of enlightenment. Both kinds of training are good, but they are very different. And shamanic skills, like any skills, can be misused if one is not deeply rooted in an ethic of compassion.
Nor would I. I also would not use the term Shaman.
Yeah itâs a matter of semantics. You could say âno one deserves to be called a shaman if they are doing bad things.â That may be true. But there are many people in the world who on the one hand look like they are doing shamanic healing work, and then on the other hand will send curses on someone they donât like. They operate in a kind of ethical gray zone. Call them what you will. The same with the term âwitchâ - which is where this discussion started. Some are good, some are bad and some are a mix of good and bad. In Africa, by the way, shamans are often called âwitch doctors.â
One could also say that Western medical doctors should not be called doctors if they do unethical things. But many of them do, and we still call them doctors.
Bad doctors get their licenses removed, bad lawyers get disbarred.
Agreed, it is an ethical gray zone, especially if they are only cursing very bad people like Hitler, Putin, or Biden.
Witch with a strong negative connotation, would be the term I would use for them, if they are using their powers to hurt good people.
Sorcerer or Shaman, with a positive connotation would be how I would define the ones using their powers to help their tribes. But you are 100% correct, it is a game of semantics.
âif they are only cursing very bad people like Hitler, Putin or BIDEN!!!â
Dude! You crack me up! Methinks you are showing your political stripes if you are putting Biden in the same camp with Hitler and Putin!
Trump could hire the âQAnon Shamanâ and put a big curse on Biden. But watch out, Biden is a good Catholic boy and he has his crucifix to protect him!
Well I think we could go on about good and bad shamans and good and bad witches. Letâs call the whole thing off.
Lol, my loyalty is to the Realm, my political stripes are Red, White, and Blue. The 3 are all murders with an inquenchable lust for power.
Lol, no need too, the microchips the Illuminati implanted in Bidens brain have done far more damage than any Q Shaman could do. To be fair, Trump murdered people too, not US marines, but he did murder some really bad terrorists and I think some children got cuaght in the crossfire.
The Iron throne comes with a heavy cost, and nobody sits in it without getting blood on their hands.
Who needs the church, thats the old school keeper of peoples secrets, âThe Big Manâ has Big Tech protecting him. His hand might catch on fire if he touches a crucifix
Deal
Sounds like yaâll need that good olâ 12d auric cleanse
This is the spirit science guy on youtube. He has a bunch of good videos and offered a live meditation. I was suprised when I heard this.
Indeed! Being President of the U.S. is heavier karma then I would want to carry.
