@_Barry. Thanks! So many nooks and crannies on this website. I haven’t come close to discovering them all. It may take many lifetimes.
I just came across this video of this young woman- Emily Beauchamp- singing a
Shiva Mantra way out in the boonies somewhere in Quebec. As far as I can tell she’s relatively unknown but has a very sweet voice and quiet spirit. Beautiful!
I once had a dream that I was with my mother in a stunning turquoise lake, with a lot of green landscape around. After waking up, I had the feeling that it was a connection to a possible after death place for her… she sure deserves it… when I saw this post, that memory came through…
I LOVED hearing her… her energy was filling all around her with a precious sweet love.
Hello nighthawk, this is me chanting the Japanese version of the Amitabha mantra, know as the nembutsu to a simple 3 cord melody.
I have created new melodies to accompany many traditional Japanese and Tibetan practices as my aspiration is that they may be beneficial in bringing others to the practice
Really well done!
Is that you playing the guitar too?
This one is a total HOMERUN too! Well done!:
Medicine Buddha
'Tadyatha Om Bhekhandze Bhekandze Maha Bhekandze Radza Samudgate Soha . ’
Dont know the rest of it you were singing but would be very interested in getting the full lyrics to this that you were singing.
Garchen Rinpoche says the mantra is a little different . . .
MEDICINE BUDDHA MANTRA
tadyathā | om̆
̇bhekadze bhekadze mahā bhekadze bhekadze
rāja samutgate svāhā
Hello Nighthawk, thank you!
I am glad you enjoy the chants. It is a comple practice, with the mantra, then the seven lone prayer done 3 times, then refuge and bodhicitta prayer (×3) followed by the four immeasurables also 3 times.
After going back to the mantra for a bit, there is the dedication of merit followed by the bodhicitta aspiration prayer, then finishing with the mantra.
I will post the lyrics today in the comments on you tube so you can follow along.
I also do a Saturday morning live session on zoom at 8am Pacific time, where i teach the chants step by step.

Appreciate you letting me know about this offering! Thank you
It is in conflict with dream sangha 2x a month, but the other 2x I should be free. Have not played the guitar in years, I think its time to blow the dust off it.
