Amen, Thank you for this, A+ across the board!!!

In the first 1-2min of watching it, I thought to myself, the opening scene with the lawyer reminded me of the open of Thunderheart. Then a few min later Kurts name flashed on the titles, didnt realize it was him till he took off the hat and glasses. Cool synch

The Golden Child (1986) Trailer #1

have not seen this one in over 2 decades, so cant vouch for it, but was reminded of it when watching Big Trouble.

Looks like free on prime, time for a rewatch

Both came out around the same time. “Child” partly takes place in Nepal and the US. Both are similar with mystical themes, but little else, really.

The Adams Chronicles, an excellent dramatizations of American history, as good as it gets, with unforgettable scenes and information that you just don’t get in books.

There is also an excellent HBO series “John Adams” starring Paul Giamatti, well worth watching. Warning, This scene from episode 3 shows the practice of tar and feathering, exemplifies the perilous conditions of revolutionary America.
