Since you like Science Fiction, you might check out “The Man from Earth” also on Tubi which is probably the most unique SF movie I’ve ever seen. The blurb for it: When colleagues throw a farewell bash for a retiring professor, the scholar reveals that he’s had a stranger and far, far longer past than they knew.
It got 100% on RT from Critics and as one observed, Very probably will be one of the best science fiction films of this decade. It really deserves to be seen.
Really sorry @_Barry , but your daughter and I might just turn you into a Swifite after all:
Taylor Swift - cardigan (O
As I am writing this, a red tailed hawk called from outside my cracked open window 3 times. I think that is a sign, probably confirmation.
Hate to say it, but I have added “expereincing a Swift-quake” to my bucket list, talk about a woman with potent vibes!
LOL
So youre saying theres still a chance?
I think the sun changes its magnetic poles every decade or so. Not sure if earth has ever done this, or how often…
Agreed, shes got a great voice
The bad and the ugly of backwoods justice:
Carrie Underwood - Two Black Cadillacs
Carrie Underwood - Church Bells
Shes got a hell of a voice
Make sure to listen to both then consider the quote.
Love how the first song is so in your face about it!
“Remember only God can judge us,
Forget the haters 'cause somebody loves ya!”
“Remember only God can judge us
Forget the haters 'cause somebody loves ya
And everyone in line in the bathroom
Tryna get a line in the bathroom”
Lol, I remember an old coworker of mine talking about this song, and how they were in a bar that had lines for the bathroom, because everyone was doing lines in the bathroom. Too funny
Cool synchronicity that the memory of that hit me when I first started listening to the song, and how it was so close to the lyric you were talking about.
It also reminded me of this memory:
For a Bachelor party in a Mexican strip club a few years ago, because I was the only sober one in the group, I was tasked with the job of negotiating a deal so the others could do lines in the powder room. They ending up buying with a credit card at the bar.
Crazy night.
Before we left the club, the bouncer told us to go out the back (the parking lot was in the front). In the back room was the owners gym, and in the corner were two giant prison cell like cages with iron bars. Laying on the ground of the iron cages, cool and calm, were two adult lions, a female in one cage, and a male in the other.
Talk about the Wild (South) West!
Thats a night I will never forget.

The song “Unchained Melody” came from the movie “Unchained” about convicts being given a chance at redemption by a forward thinking administrator, played by Elroy “Crazy Legs” Hirsch, the LA Rams wide receiver. I remember the movie as very good for what it was and I liked the song in it. You can hear it below.
Years later, it was an A capella hit by Vito and the Salutations, which is still a great rendition. In the 50s and 60s A capella (no musical accompaniment) was big with local groups such as Dion and the Belmonts singing harmony on the corner, under the streetlamp. Check out Vito’s take on the song.
