Two Eyes a poem by Dina

Why do you think
We have two eyes
One is for truth
One is for lies

One is for living
One is for dying
One is for laughing and
One is for crying.

One eye for you
And one eye for me
One is out hiding
And one is go seek

One eye can see
Yet one eye is blind
One plus one is three
In principles of mind.

One eye for giving
One eye for getting
One eye says, “Wait!”
While the other says, “Ready.”

One eye is dreaming
And one eye is still
One eye is emptied
While the other is filled

Again, i will see you
Another time
When my eyes are yours
And your eyes are mine.

Interesting. Looked for this online but could only find " Two Eyes Gazed Out Of A Window"

It’s not published. Just thought people might enjoy

This is beautiful, the depth is Heavenly, it really it reminded me of this excerpt from a saying of God in the Islamic tradition:
“When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it.”

Thanks
