ā€œnon-violent but forcefulā€ - wonderful.
AiKiDo Mastery is such a good example.
Another example is Neo dodging bullets - he needs conscious rage to do the movement.
the drawing behind him is such a good example of how good conscious rage can be - you can create such beautiful things with it!

I agreeā€¦ we should never communicate nor judge with anger. Always great to allow the wave to come, go, inform us, and when we are back feeling love and compassion, we can go forth.

AMEN Sister

This doesnt mean dont address the problem, it means address it with Buddha mind or Christ Mind, clear impartial, free of impurities. The most creative and effective solutions manifest from this clear and open mindstate.

Not sure if you have read this book, but I found the first 24 pages to be a Grand Slam. Check the table of contents, might be of interest to other members as well:

yesā€¦ and itā€™s a whole new experienceā€¦ huge liberation.

a little glimpse of this gem:
ā€œIn traditional Islamic thought - as in other traditions - the heart is viewed as the center of our being.
(ā€¦) The Prophet of Islam spoke of the heart as a repository of knowledge and a vessel sensitive to the deeds of the body.
(ā€¦) The heart needs nourishment.
(ā€¦) This calm is what the heart seeks out and gravitates to. It yearns always to remember God the Exalted.ā€

Yesterday I have found precious gems in AHā€™s new book "Iā€™m Mindful, Now What? - Page 27, where he quotes the Dalai Lama on several passages.

Resume:
"Investigate and analyze the destructive effects of anger in 1. Physical.health; 2. Oneā€™s family relationships; 3. Society. If it improves situations or not. Repeatedly until it becomes part of oneā€™s deeper understanding. This will allow you to become more cautious of giving in to the anger and letting it escalate.

And AH adds: ā€œInstead of losing it, youā€™ll ā€œfind itā€. Youā€™ll find yourself being more fully present to whatā€™s happening.ā€

the next pages are SO FULL of wisdom. Really worth reading them. From other emotional material Iā€™ve been studying deeply in the past years (since 2010), I highlight here the clarity, compassion, kindness and ability to see things from a higher perspective, all embraced by touching humanity.

ā€œā€¦We have changed dimensions of experience, and our world changed with us.ā€

ā€œAnger is the seed emotion of the Hell Realmsā€¦there are many possible expressions:
aversion,
tension,
resentment,
criticism,
argument,
and violence.
Much of the destruction of wars is caused by angerā€¦ā€

Offense and Outrage: Do they belong together?

"Anything that disappears from your psychological inventory is apt to turn up in the guise of a hostile neighbor who will inevitably arouse your Anger and make you aggressive. It is surely better to know that your worst Enemy is right there in your own heart :"
