Re-enchanting the World: How to learn from Animals - Rupert Sheldrake
minute 9:26 - he mentions what I shared with you some months ago: dogs that know when their âownersâ are coming home
that are in this book of his:
minute 11:00 - after publishing his book, Rupert Sheldrake started receiving hundreds of emails from people and has âa database now with more than six thousand case histories of unexplained abilities of animalsâ
minute 13:25 his most recent book
âlearning from animalsâ is one of the chapters
I guess this is his foundational work for the latest researches heâs doing with Bial Foundation
minute 20:50 - in this book, there is a whole chapter called âanimals that comfort and healâ
I will go to the National Library, most probably next week, and look for these âbabiesâ
@_Barry yesterday I facilitated my first Forest Retreat for parents and children. it came out to be teenagers and⌠it makes all sense. It was⌠epic! A really good start for this new version dedicated to families
@NightHawk999 beloved BBâŚthank you for your prayers⌠thanks also to them, it was⌠de-LIGHT-full Solimar was at home!.. we did around 11 kms, he must have done, at least, 33kms⌠he LOVES the forest, the people, and people LOVE him!
Love that first pic, looks like you are touching the sky! So cool how close the clouds were to yall
No doubt. Its amazing how energizing the forest is for dogs, and for humans. I am beaming smiling because that 33km is no lie, lol, the trails they take are like lighting bolts, zig zagging to the actual trails
Dogs make the best scouts for horse riders, often identifying snakes and other dangers before the rest of the heard.
Iâm at the National Library right now (with my laptop) and just found a delightful passage from Rupert Sheldrakeâs book âSeven Experiments that could change the worldâ (Portuguese version from 2002, page 29:
âIn my home town of Newark-on-Trent, I had a neighbor who had a cat. The ladyâs son was in the merchant navy. One day, this neighbor told me that she always knew when her son was coming home on leave, even if he didnât tell her when he was arriving. The cat would sit on the carpet at the entrance and meow for an hour or two until he arrived, âso I always know when itâs time to make tea for my sonâ."
