did you already do that Martial Arts class? How was it?
Better than I expected, and I had really high expectations going in.
Definitely going back, thank you for the reminder.
yehaaaaaay!
happy for you.
Martial Arts is excellent for all the LD practices… and beyond. Enjoy!
Thank you my friend. It may be a month or 2, still nursing a shoulder injury, its about 90-95% healed.
When its back at 100%, will let the claws get some fresh air…
no more doubling, my friend! hihihi take care!..
Doubling? What do you mean by this my hearr?
hihihi. it was a pure joke!. the word for being a double in American I think is being a stunt…? the person who does the dangerous parts of the main actor?
I just had this crazy image of you doing dangerous things and that’s what’s provoking your injuries…
this + watching the video also inspired the joke
Please excuse me if it confused you!
Lol, you mastered the English language better than I have, that went way over my head.
Youre not a mind reader are you!!! …
So last winter I decided to test the cultural prejudices of how dangerous riding a bike on extremely slippery ice.
Captain Science was pleasantly surprised to learn the tires were able to adhere to the road much better than I had thought when going it a straight line.
Its the turns that got me, the back tire slipped out.
My intuition told me not to play with fire. And after a few blocks I decided it was too dangerous to make the full ride, and turned back home. It was on the way home that I fell. Serves me right for not listening. Thank God I had multiple layers on to cushion the blow, otherwise I probably would have broken something.
Basic blocking was one of the things we practiced, the instructor said getting these down so they are second nature is very important.
The Wooden Dummy Is NOT What You Think
Casino Royale - “A very short life expectancy.”
“I also like to live dangerously”
A-ha… so you are practicing Karate?
I did Ai Ki Do in 2005… LOVED it!
interesting how this is contagious… in feelings work, this is called “mixed feelings” of joy and fear - many people have them mixed and go on crazy adventures, unaware of what’s going on inside of them. I unmixed these two several years ago and still… sometimes, there’s a smell of it on my system… but I’m aware now… and it makes the whole difference!..
“I want you to take your ego out of the equation”
No, just thought this was a cool video. Not sure which MA they teach there, I think its a mix of disciplines.
For me its NOT this:
This would be a better way of putting it:
Calculated risk to face fears as a form of egoic evolution. Lot of monsters and scary things in this world. The more practice, the stronger your Spiritual Armor becomes
There’s magic in the air…
Yesterday I was reading this text:
“KEEPING THE VILLAINS AT BAY
I n the hero’s journey, the heroes need villains just as much as villains need heroes. The challenges from trials and rivals make us grow and become better. The power and strength of the villain determines the necessary power and strength of the hero. If the villain was weak, there would be nothing to vanquish–and no need for the hero to rise to greatness. In my podcast interview with Simon Sinek, author of The Infinite Game, Simon refers to our “worthy rivals,” those who help point out the personal weaknesses we need to address. That is where your opportunity lies.”

And I just watched this video you shared with us recently:
Moved by it, I would add that “it all comes from our true source”, as TWR so well emanates on this brilliant profound healing class. This video gives us access to the most precious treasure of life! And the most beautiful is that we can go as many times as we wish… it will always be here for us.
I felt deeply blissed receiving the three refuges. I LOVE TWR’s chantings. What a delightful gem!
And what an inspiration you are in my life, and in the life of so many others BB.
Infinite Gratitude.
I listen to it while cleaning, almost like a purification, just being, feeling, dancing without a goal……
Cleansing of the Soul
No doubt in my mind that dancing does more than just impact the physical body…
