I would push back on the purposeless comment about the ocean, or life in general, but it may be a term that was lost in translation and has many meanings like "emptinessâ in Buddhism.
I think the purpose and karmic reasonings are things that only God can understand, or only a Buddha could comprehend pr begin to grasp.
It remind me of the question:
âWhat is the meaning of life?â
Which by its framing and nature conceptually imprisons whoever answers it with the implication that life has to have a meaning and or that that meaning is comprehendible to those who are not OmniscientâŠ

Had a dream about you today, and your son, yall make an appearance in Dream 2:
Dream 1
I am with the US Military officials, they are discussing buildig a military base in a forein country. I suggest they build it in the shape of a hexagon, with 6 airport runways connecting the corners and intersecting in the center point, with buildings on the perimeter.
Now I am in that base or an intelligence area, and they are showing me the high tech computer screens. As they show me, on the screens it shows a foreign country has launched a nuclear bomb, it flies to central and south america, blowing up vast areas of land and countries, with the epicenter being around Panama, and blackened devastation reaching as far as Argentina, Most of Brazil, All of central America, and most of Western North America. From a birds eye sattelite view, the terrain is scorched and all black for much of these countries. We flee the control room and I head to the Gulf of America, which is supposedly a safe space on the waters.
End Dream
[First dream I have ever had about an Atomic bomb exploding and doing so much damage]
Dream 2
I am walking on foreign shores near the ocean or Gulf. There is a white ship in the water, with a white staircase leading up to it, and some boards in the water to walk up to the stairs. @BlessingsDeers you walk out of the ship the the stairs, I smile and ask âPermission to come aboard?â but before I finish the sentence you Happily tell me âAloha, Come Aboardâ.
[I have been holding in my bladder for the past few dream cycles, so by this dream, I REALLY have to pee]. I ask you if I can use the bathroom, and you say âof courseâ.
I go searching the inside of the ship for a bathroom. The inside is MASSIVE, like a floating house, with many large rooms. I go to the back, open a window door only to realize it leads to a room without stairs and the bottom floor of the ship. I move through the center of the âhouseâ living room, you are talking with some other guests. Still looking I come into a room that is darker and has a staircase up, and in the room many blankets on the ground. There in the blankets is your Son sleeping, with black hair about a hands length, he looks about 6 or 7 years old. You walk up to him and check on him, running your hand through his hair. I leave, not wanting to disturb him with the noise of the guests, I close the door and move to another room.
I walk down to a lower level towards the front of the boat. Now I am in the kitchen, which is very bright and white, there are several people there playing some type of game and being very loud. The Chef is wearing white, and looks like he has a red blood or wine stains on his leg by his foot. I think maybe he killed a chicken for dinner? They try to engage me in the game they are playing, but I donât stay long because I really have to pee. I leave, closing the door behind me tight, so the noise wont disturb your son. I move to the side room of the ship, and enter, only to be astonished by its beauty!
The room is like a big greenhouse, with the walls all glass so you can see the ocean. It is very Peaceful, and Quiet, no one is there, and it is very nice to get away from the noise. All around the room is overflowing with fresh cut Flowers (no vases or stems) of many different colors and dozens of White candles. It looks like you are preparing for a big dinner party. in the center of the room where the table should be is a perimeter shaped like a boat, but hollow on the inside so you can see the floor, and on the edges are more flowers. You walk into the room. I go to give you a big hug and tell you how beautiful it looks, but before I reach you I am kicked out of the dream.
yesterday I dreamt that my house had been all moved into a boat in the center of Lisbon! I had the impression it was not really a boat but sure looked like one - all walls and elements of my house were on the waters.
