Beloveds, if you dont mind, I would like to share a meditation I invented. This is your early November 5th Present :green_heart: :night_with_stars: :green_heart:

So basically I combined Andrews Dzogchen Star Gazing Practice
with
The Buddhas highly slowed down walking meditation (like Tai Chi slow motion movements)

Practice:
1
Start standing in a clear flat safe area (no roads or parking lots, try tennis courts or park paths)

2
Look up
Tilt head back, bending at neck,

3
Adjust Spine and neck
Let these areas open and adjust to the relief of tension for 30-60seconds

4 Look up
Let your mind mix with Sky

5 Move Slowly
Slowly start a turtle pace walking meditation WHILE simultaneously keeping your eyes fixed on the night sky, so the stars or clouds occupy your line of sight.

Like you are doing Tai Chi, focus on the indivdual muscles of the legs and slow movements.

(Dont trip!)

When I did this tonight, on step 1, as soon as I looked direclty up, i saw a shooting star.

TREE MEDITATIONS

Been doing a lot of tree meditations these past few weeks.

One of my favorite insights came this week ( as we enter the Midpoint of Fall) with one of the Maple Trees I watched de-manifesting its leaves.

During this sacred time these trees have basically dropped all their leaves, and only have a few red ones left.

You can see the bare bones of the trees
And if you look closely you can see the buds, newly formed, of next years leaves.

Was a pretty cool juxtaposition of life and death

So I forgot to mention, a few weeks ago when I started doing this practice after a hiatus, I was doing it in a park with a path around prairie grass.

I stopped in this path and got into meditative flow. Looking straight up at the stars and Jupiter.

A few min later I heard soft movement through the short grass below by my feet.

There in the 1 foot or so margin of mowed grass between the cement path and tall grass was a Skunk!
(Literally a foot away from my feet!!!)

It was like I was INVISIBLE, the Skunk walked right past me before I had any time to have a reaction! I was pretty amazing.

I think if I had startled, and broke from the flow state, I would have spooked the being and been sprayed

Meditation is so Powerful, and I think these experiences are just the tip of the iceberg

I did this mediation three times in three different days.

1st day – I was mesmerized by an illusion…. I was on a path with some trees and

2nd day – I had the feeling that I was walking in a path of stars… delightful

3rd day (yesterday) – spontaneously went walking with Solimar on a leash. Usually this happens only in Summer cause there are so many people around, but intuitively I decided to take him on a leash – some minutes I realized why – there were fire works which scare him… he feels much safer on a leash on those moments. A few minutes after, I decided to go to the beach, and because Solimar was on a leash, leading the path, I went almost all the way doing this meditation……!

The feeling was that walking in this way – looking at the stars, is more natural than the normal walk…

I decided then to hold my breath a few times and… I literally felt the stars coming inside me (and no, I wasn’t tripping). I enjoyed it so much that on the way back from the beach I did it again. I saw then a shooting star…. Inspired by this image:

My wish was to laugh three times more in 2025 than in my entire life!!! I don’t know how that would be possible…. But I trust my spontaneous wish! (laughing right now)
