Nope, left it there. I tried a reverse Google image search but it is tough to get an exact match based off that photo.
I think all feathers are like little pieces of artwork from nature. To me the owner would be nature.

So being pissed off at Google for failing, I decided to used the old fashioned ‘google web search’. I went back and looked at the image you posted, and meditated on it for a few seconds, and what sprang to mind was:
Turkey Feather
I googled Turkey feather, and it looks like it may be the tail feather of a wild Turkey.
Not 100% sure it is a Wild Turkey feather, but I think it is.
We talked in the Dream Sangha on saturday how when we develop a connection to people in different sanghas, synchronicities and intuitive stuff starts to flow in a powerful way (I had a cool intuitive flash with Mary Ann that day). So it it is a Turkey feather, thank you for making my night!
PS I think begimin franklin wanted the national bird to be the Wild Turkey, due to its positive traits.
A few days ago I did a journey where I have met my present friends that help me in my dream and astral journeys. Not a wild turkey but… two parrots and one lioness.
How lucky, han? hihihi
Awesome synchronicity. I picked up Robert Mosses book from the library because of you and members from the Dream Sangha mentioning him.
On the cover is a lion. And on the first page (xi) in the Prologue he says:
“Place of the Lion”
Lions have a very special place in Buddhism too:
This is beautiful… even more special because the journey I mentioned was with Robert Moss. As a preparation for the journey into the after dying, we are doing a 7 classes journey with several adventures in the dream world. I’m loving it. he’s very playful, sharp and simple, reaching all kinds of students…
I love this text of him. Thank you so much for sharing.
And also the Buddhist one… many times I say to myself “I deserve this and I’m so grateful”… it’s a powerful mantra for those on this path of non attachment to results and how things will manifest, not worrying about the how, just the what (moves me) and why. Then the Universe does the rest.
I find it always fascinating when these things happen… they are part of what the text describes that faith…
yesterday something of this kind happened… before a class (with Robert Moss) we were invited to clean ourselves and to delve into some kind of waters, could be ocean. I had been there several minutes before, in the middle of other things - I just felt it was really important for me to go there, and jump into the ocean.
In my experience these little sparks of life have the ability to move us, igniting our connection, discipline, strength and motivation.
His book Active Dreaming is really fantastic, I have not finished it yet, but read the first 45 pages, and those alone are worth getting the book.
Just got done reading the part about Bibliomancy, the story about Abraham Lincoln and the bible is really cool:
Also loved these quotes:
THis page was really meaningful to me:
“if you have lost your dreams, you have lost part of your soul.”
@mbready & @_Barry , I think yall will really like this book too.
So true.
For me I always try to pack a few extra water bottles while camping to do a water bottle bath at night before bed, and then dry off by the fire.
Its like being batptized by fire, water, and air.
(and if you add some diluted ash to the skin as bug repellant, you got the earth element at play too)
this is SO amazing…
I sent you a private message a while ago with a star hug - this is so uncommon in me. I think it’s the first time I have written it.
And I also shared an experience about a group expedition in the world of dreams, beyond time, thanks to the help of my dream journal…
thanks for sharing.
and for the inspiration you are.
and for the support I feel in your kindness.
This is for you and @mbready :
" Turkeys are generally seen as good omens, representing abundance, fertility, and nourishment. They can also indicate a time of new beginnings or opportunities. If you have the turkey as your spirit animal, you can consider yourself lucky. Now’s the time to break out of your comfort zone. If a turkey crosses your path, set a new goal! These famous birds have a reputation for making things happen."
&
"If you have a turkey spirit animal, you are thoughtful, outspoken, and have a strong sense of self. You are also very protective of your loved ones. Turkeys are famous for their courage, and you likely have this trait. You are not afraid to stand up for what you believe in and are always ready to help those in need. Friends come to rely on you, and family members feel your love.
The turkey spirit animal is also a symbol of wealth or abundance. If you have this totem, you will likely be very prosperous. You are also probably quite creative, and your imagination is always working. You may enjoy making things with your hands or be a natural-born artist. People love your optimistic attitude and ability to see the best in people."
I thought these descriptions were very fitting for yall
This feeling is mutual.
The artwork you sent me was very creative, have not had time to write about it yet, but will this weekend.
yeaaahhhh! thank you
thank you for your immense generosity
after your feedback I will post here in the community
!!! Love this message. What a fun way to receive it.
@JamesC … Great chat you started here! (Sept 14)
Curious about 2nd teaching…
And ? Did you act on this message from a stranger?
@NightHawk999
Love what this Turkey totem represents.
In my dream interpretation:
T=X (like the cross )
UR = your
KEY = key
Turkey=X (marks the spot) your key
@Bianca_Aga I acted on the first teaching! — I just lived at MAPLE for a month (the Monastic Academy for the Preservation of Life on Earth). As for living my life like a parade of Christ, that one’s a bit more challenging! Not sure how to do that exactly
How was it?
Parade of Christ=
A joyous celebration of the Holy Spirit incarnated ?
I acted on the first teaching!
Thats awesome! So pleased for you!
I just lived at MAPLE for a month (the Monastic Academy for the Preservation of Life on Earth).
I checked out their website, looks like a beautiful place.
“The Monastic Academy is an unusual and groundbreaking organization that brings the power of education and non-profit skills together with the wisdom and compassion of a Buddhist monastery.”

Love what this Turkey totem represents.
Yeah me too, thought it was very fitting.
I did not mention another really cool synchronicity of that:
I have a few feathers hanging in my room. I had not identified any of them successfully until doing a google earch of turkey feather.
Pretty cool coincidence.
How was it?
Great minds think a like
