Russian Orthodox Christmas is approximately two weeks later. In western Alaska, kids would do the âcandy runâ then, particularly if Halloween was avoided as worshiping of the Devil day, as it was in some communities.
@_Barry
Thank you for sharing this. How come you missed celebrating St Nicolas Day with your daughter? Your right about it celebrated in parts of Europe. Its not in Britain and i only learnt of it about 15 years ago when i became good friends with a Swiss German who decorated her porch for 6th December. I think its a grand idea
âchildren wake up to a special treat in their shoesâ is this where the idea of little gifts in stockings came from?
And never read that poem on the link you posted.
@BlessingsDeers
These celebrations make happy memories, for you and all children

Santa getting use to the web lol!
I LOVED the video you shared yesterday about Yule:
I sent it to some friends and they also LOVED it
I also shared the video about Tantra Consort, together with the âCom Sorteâ discovery in one of my facebook groups, and there was also a great response to it.
I feel deep gratitude.
I have found another video from Alwyn Oak that is delightfulâŠ
May your Yule be enchanting beloved @Bianca_Aga and may you receive infinite Love.

Love all these Christmas songs you posted. Love to know those that resonate in others and hearing lyrics that have an association.
Let It Snow
"⊠the weather outside is frightful ⊠"
Last few days almost hurricane here
"Popping popcorn ⊠" nice idea hmm
Why you love this? It makes me think of London when i lived there for 4 years quite a few years ago. Living in the city vibe, Oxford Street lights and all!
Winter Wonderland song, i prefer Michael Bublé⊠had me thinking why do we associate Christmas with snow In Britain you can place a bet for if it snows on Christmas Day.
The Good Old Cozy Christmas Carols ⊠great for an hour listening by the fire.
@NightHawk999 Thanks for sharing this video. Really beautiful and gave my the tingles!"
I dont know if you have the same in US but here every lead up to Christmas 100s of hours of creativity goes into the making of the best TV Christmas advert. John Lewis department stores was the one that really got this going. Many have followed suit.
Heres this years making of their Xmas Ad.
Am thrilled! I just found it by accident. I nearly didnt post it, as although i love her child like enthusiasm i resonate with, i dont meet many that share this, until i saw she has a large following. Its all so gentle. Lovely your friends to liked it.
I just watched & listened to the whole other video of Alwyn Oak you shared. So beautiful and calming. Shall start to watch more of her videos.
Wow, never imagined that video would resonate that well. So many usually shy away from this topic. A pleasuređ
Thank you beloved @BlessingsDeers gratefully received and may you also receive Infinite love.
I have been working on this since 2020! A new project right after Intuitive Power, called Relationship Dreamers. I launched the book in 2022âŠ
Itâs good to hear your comments⊠made me realize that indeed thereâs a lot of work to be done here and that we need to be patient⊠reading you somehow comforted me. sometimes I forgot and take it personally for things not flowing as much as I would like them toâŠ
it also doesnât help being passionate and following my passions⊠in 2023 the dream world started to flourish in me and the previous project somehow did not evolve as I would have expected⊠but I have learned a lot
yehaaaay!
LOVED the picture. thank you.
Beloved @BlessingsDeers
That is lovely of you to acknowledge that somehow through words and play the power of presence brought you realisation which inturn brought comfort.
We are all having wishes but like Mooji said in the interview with Andre it is the presence that has the power to achieve.
For me Ive come too see that the more we rest with what IS the more bliss there will be. Like the carol line âcomfort & joyâ.
Personally i believe in acceptance of all and being passionate is wonderful because your heart is feeling deeply & true.
Love that!
Makes sense to me.
Very beautiful, really liked the intro.
yes, for sure âŠ
if it wasnât for that, I wouldnât be here with youâŠ
yes and⊠itâs also good to forget it sometimes and then coming back again⊠hihihi⊠itâs part of being human⊠itâs also what sometimes deeply connects us⊠from the heart. LOVED the music âLight Your Wayâ
And like in this video, the suggestion of this 5,500 year old and oldest Stone circle in Britain with a settlement next to it that wasnt a residential place was used to celebrate something. My mind again thinks before the neolithic, people travelled here to celebrate the Solstice.
Beloved @BlessingsDeers

if it wasnât for that, I wouldnât be here with youâŠ
Amen to that

yes and⊠itâs also good to forget it sometimes and then coming back again
Yes youâre right ⊠that creates a space.

LOVED the music âLight Your Wayâ
Did see this earlier post? Theres a link to
Google searched Winter Soltice
âIn 2023 the winter solstice will occur on Friday 22 December at 3.27am GMT. The winter solstice occurs in December, and in the Northern Hemisphere the date marks the 24-hour period with the fewest daylight hours of the year.â In Orkney, Scotland theres an ancient Stone Circle. Here is an aerial view of the site known as Brodgar. [20231220_105424] If you look at the 2 hills in the background, on the winter Solstice the sun falls betweenâŠ

One of my favourite songs by Quadriga Consort
@BlessingsDeers see the name âConsortâ
Here are my top 3 favourite Christmas movies, I shall be watching (AGAIN) over the holidays. Will you be watching a favourite?
1. White Christmas; for the nostalgia.
2. A Christmas Candle; for the giving.
3. The Holiday; for the xmas romcom.
Interesting yesterday I thought I wonder if it will snow tomorrow when I plan to watch the movie White ChristmasâŠwith the happy snow scene! And amazing today here on the island now it started snowing
This is so interesting⊠today I was picking up a friend and her daughter from the airport. They made a new friend on the flight, who had exchanged her house - she was in the house of a family who stayed at her home for a Christmas adventure, and in this way she could be in their house, near to her family from Portugal for ChristmasâŠ
hihihi nice synch.

Wow! ⊠that is an amazing synchronicity!!! that your friend met a person on the plane who had exchanged homes for Christmas. Maybe they saw this movie. Youâll have to watch the movie
Did you realise this Movie The Holiday is where the little girl says âI REALLY LIKE ITâ?
In 2009 ⊠14 years ago today i was catching the overnight ferry from England to France. Early next morning on Christmas Eve in France it was covered in snow and i had a very differcult long day driving about 12 hours to my parents home. This Christmas song always gives me that past memory.
Do you have a good memory that a Christmas song makes you think of?
@nighthawk999 since you posted Silver Bells, itâs the song thatâs been stuck in my head humming away daily
This morning I woke up singing this Christmas song ⊠one youâd posted earlier as well.
Then just because this was the next youtube video

Do you have a good memory that a Christmas song makes you think of?
Iâll always remember the amazing displays and glitzy lights of Singapore for the holiday display.
And, of course, that year in Ljubljana . . .
Christmas in Nepal in 1976. Video from a few years later . . .
@_Barry Very cool amazing displays!
And i thought that was Nepal even before reading where it was!
