Yeah, we’re all just rats, lost in the maze of samsara trying to find ourselves!
When I was a kid I did a science project where I built a maze and then compared how well a rat, a mouse and a gerbil did in the maze. I put a little treat at the end for motivation. The rat was the clear winner - it just ran very quickly through the maze in less than a minute. It took the mouse considerably longer, around 20 minutes as I recall. The gerbil just found a quiet corner of the maze and curled up and went to sleep! Now I wonder if the gerbil was navigating the maze in the dream realm!
Yeah, for my 6th grade science fair project I compared a white egg to a brown egg to see if the color affected the nutrient. I was an egghead, even then!
Yeah I was a total little science nerd with my chemistry set and my microscope and my solder gun (for building little radios and such). I was sure that I was going to be a scientist when I grew up. Only trouble was that I was not so great in math and then in college got interested in dreams, so switched over to psychology. I still had to squeak through a statistics class and barely got through that!
Yeah, when I was maybe ten, I bought one of those crystal radio kits from Radio Shack for a buck where you had to wrap the wire around a toilet paper role and listen really hard to get a signal . . . .
@_Barry. My father built me a crystal radio set when I was just a toddler. I would listen with headphones while falling asleep. It only got one radio station, however, and it was “easy listening”. (This was the 50’s and I don’t think he wanted me listening to that evil Elvis!). I suspect that all of that radio listening at an early age developed the music part of my brain. By the time I was 13, however, I was soldering together my own radio and stereo sets. (I bought them as kits) and was listening to that evil rock and roll!
Never did get mine to work
LOVED this video, soooooooo COOOL!!!
LOL he looks like all he is missing is a cool drink and some sunglasses
This is actually one of my long term goals, to own farmland and get the proper licenses to help rehabilitate raptor populations, especially endangered species.
LOVED this video, really amazing when animals become mothers to others young.
@NightHawk999 I saw a pod of orcas last summer on Whidbey Island (WA). In all of the years I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest, it was the only time I’ve actually seen them.
That video you posted was so crisp, I felt like I was there. So beautiful out where you live
Very jealous of both experiences.
On my bucket list to swim with a blue whale, and with dolphins.
Now I have to add kayaking with orcas to the list
I’ve been wanting to kayak with orcas for years but hasn’t happened yet. And I’ve done a lot of kayaking. One summer my wife and I went up to Vancouver Island, BC to a place where orcas normally congregate at that time of year. We kayaked all around looking for them but never saw them. (When we saw them on Whidbey Island last summer we weren’t kayaking but saw them from shore).
We did once have an experience in Hawaii one time where a woman who claimed to have a special psychic connection to the dolphins took us out on a boat and then had us swim to where the dolphins were. They swam right under us! My wife also swam with dolphins once in Florida.
Thank you for telling me this. I believe there are many souls on this planet who have the ability to connect and communicate with animals the way that woman did.
yes… and this thread is filled with SO many examples of that!
I had once a boyfriend who is a medium, with advanced psychic abilities. He is able of connecting with people and animals, and receive the whole story of the being. it’s amazing. I have other friends who do this here in Portugal and know some in the USA.
here’s a list of those:
when Solimar was grieving Nina, I contacted one of these (because there is no emotional attachment as with my Portuguese friends) and she helped us! I sent his picture and immediately felt more confident. This feeling kept growing to the point of him getting well, two weeks later.
Here’s a very direct video about this kind of communication:
discovered this incredible woman thanks to you, @NightHawk999
here’s another magic profound video about healing a trauma of a donkey:
Infinite Blessings to this granddaddy that is back to the ocean! amazing team around!..
Today I found this very interesting article:
Highlight:
“linguists routinely study the languages Dolphin, Ant, Worm, Penguin and more, and humans have long lost the hubris that they are the only intelligent beings on the Earth.”
Dearest Beloved
Saw this pic and thought of you
Not sure if you watched the video on the weather.com siye
If not please do

I had a couple of dreams in which I was breathing inside water!.. no dolphins though!..
I watched it, but what impressed me was such an incredible team with the turtle!..
