Has anybody listened to or worked with the Monroe Institute Gateway tapes? I just started and will work at first on Focus 10 and 12. You can find them for free here:

Here is another source for all the audio files / course material. You have to download telegram (a messenger app) to access them.
I never did them but when I was looking into them I found it difficult to find all the files.
Reason I never dove into these personally is that the monroe institute worked closely with the CIA on remote viewing, in particular the Gateway program.
This song explains my stance pretty well.

Understandable, but I’m focused (haha unintended pun if you know anything about the tapes) on gathering the most effective tools, I don’t really much care about the source, if they work.

I was listening to feel the energy and… they are not the original files. Listened to them with my earbuds and there is no right and left distinction as he so well describes in the beginning of the files 
thank you anyway, but I will not listen to them

Which source did you listen to? There are many floating around. The .flac files I posted have the left/right correct. The mp3 versions may not

I checked the first mp3 file (wave 1 cd 1 ) and I hear the left/right difference. But, the mp3 versions are definitely not the original. I think the .flac files are, but cannot guarantee.

I read it in the past, and remember the teachers advice about Garuda, but missed the fine print that he was doing Astral Projection!!!

Alan Wallace mentions AP briefly in his book, I think around page 111:
He lets the reader decide if it is real or not, but he mentions the Dalai Lama talking about it.

Did you do it in deep meditation, or using dreaming as a launch pad?

I dissolved the physical body to experience totally the energetic body
did it in Deep Meditation State, with the help from the Monroe Institute

Yes I really liked it, was cool to see the one woman chose the desert to project to
A friend told me yesterday, that some people, when they practice Kundalini, have Astral Projection as an unintended consequence and it can freak them out.
I liked the part about how this sacred practice is only taught in certain very high level Buddhist circles, and many advanced monks are not privy to the teachings. I think these sacred practices carry with them a great deal of Karmic weight.

it’s something that should happen naturally… with the support of a master indeed. (or several)
it’s usually done to help others… and do good stuff for the world. this was one of the first teaching I received about dream consciousness, with Starr Fuentes.

yes, that’s why you tube is wonderful a gift, containing videos such as the ones I shared so that people come to be in peace with it.
