This portal opening corresponds to the peak of the meteor shower, and I have read was also around the time the Nile used to flood (before they Damned it).

Pop culture astrology gets it wrong, but serious astrologers will tell you there are plenty of shy and cautious lions. The self confidence falls on a bell curve too, with excessive self confidence leading to people like Napoleon, Mussolini, Castro, and Madonna :upside_down_face:.

Your moon placement plays a big role in personality, as does the Venus, Mars, Mercury, etc.

I have a “deer” friend whose birthday is on the 5th!
She has the Midas touch! in a very serene and spiritual way :brown_heart: well, and also with money… hihihi she’s deeply connected with Jesus and once I held her hands and noticed something incredible… on the outside they are kind of rough but on the inside… the softest hands I ever touched. And I would say that is one of her best qualities - very pragmatic and energetic to do what needs to be done on one side, and very sweet on the inside, with a very generous heart.

About Leo I only watched the first seconds about showing up! but… I can see a Leo in you… when you show up, you really show up, and the world is just marveled by your knowledge and wisdom. I would dare to say that the world needs people like you to show up. Did you ever have someone to look at your astrological map? Anyway, I can share that I’m Aries, but it’s very close to Pisces, so I have A LOT of Pisces traits, along with other planets in Pisces, and energies in the 12th house :tropical_fish: Never the less, I do feel the Aries in me alive, just in a different way. I’m a warrioress indeed, with a lot of spark, but a profound and artistic one. Knowing my map helped me with understanding the unique Aries that I am. Inspired in what I see from you here, and in my friend who was also born on the 5th, I would say that you are a Leo whose fire is delicate, worthy, calm and subtle. What I would focus on would be to refine non verbal ways of expressing, such as dancing, or singing… so that you share your huge light with the world, in your unique Leo expression. And be less demanding on yourself… and others… :dolphin: also when you feel like combating something, that’s when you can do Karma yoga… to put that energy in service.

What’s a fire sign? Yeah I can be stubborn. More in habits and behavioral patterns than beliefs though. I am trying to grow beyond that.

Hmm interesting. Yeah I do tend to get enthusiastic about things. Like meditation, working with difficult emotions, stuff like that. Thing is the opportunities for me to show up are kinda limited haha. Guess I should seek more places where I have the opportunity to share my enthusiasm.

This is beautiful tysm. I’ll give it some thought. Reminds me a little of Eckhart Tolle’s concept of people who hold the vibration for others. I’ve always felt that’s me. Being there for people in a supportive non-verbal way. I struggle with finding how to do that without being awkward though.

about being awkward… I once visited Damanhur, the most advanced spiritual community I have ever came across with. They are highly creative (have their own currency, and spiritual jewelry!), and together they moved from awkwardness to genius, to manifesting on earth what they feel and believe in.

I also have this characteristic… and found out about it, in a very explicit way, in 2003, when I did my training to being a professional teacher - the trainer made a video that captured my “invisible” talent for connecting energies and people. It was super cool to discover that in such a visible way! Singing is for me, one of the best ways of creatively loving people around me. I had to let go of feeling awkward and it was the best decision of my life! :dolphin:

On August the 5th, Mercury will be retrograde in Virgo.
As I usually say, there is only energy and it should move on to its place.
This astrological happening invites us to revise things, let go of the past, clean, clear, de-clutter, take care of things that wish to take care of for a long time. This is the energy in general. I find it always a good time for joining the flow of life… it’s a great time for intuition and things that are more invisible. Since it will be in Virgo, the energy of nitpicking will be even stronger… If possible, avoid signing any contracts in this period, but focus on all the details, ask all the questions and enjoy it all! :brown_heart:

The Lion’s Gate Portal technically runs for two weeks, opening in late July on 28 and closing in mid August on 12. However, the pinnacle of the Lion’s Gate Portal is August 8 (8/8). I think I need to fact check the video beginning and this article where they take about the Alignmnets.

There is not a direct linear line that forms, I do not think.

This stuff is difficult to visualize, but I think a more accurate depiction is to say it is the time of year where Sirius once again becomes visible, along with Orion’s belt, and the galactic center.

Will have to do some more due diligence to get you the most accurate definition of this.
